Hand cross-stitch. This is a birthday gift for my good friend who looks after the garden when we are away. Unfortunately I didn't do enough research before I ordered the kit and I haven't enjoyed stitching it as much as I should. It relies too heavily o

Etui - I've made this for myself to use as a travelling sewing kit.
My J-club ladies wanted to try fringe designs, but they also like ITH items that can be completed during a club meeting. This is what I've come up with.
Hanging storage for hoops. At the moment I separate hooks for my hoops, but I wanted to reduce the number of holes in the wall. I also wanted to try out the Urban Threads "sewing sleeve" designs (which I have placed horizontally rather than vertically.)
My experiment for today. I've had this in mind for ages - I wanted to put a zip in the "fly", but the purse wouldn't have been much use. In the end I decided to hide it under the edge of the "waistband".
More things that mystify me. I am getting the hang of "English as a foreign language", but I do need a couple of explanations. 1. What is a "shower"? 2. Is a "mug rug" the same as a coaster? Than you for your perseverance!

Quilted table runner. This is my first attempt to make anything like this and I'm quite pleased with the result.
I think this one must be the grandmother of the first two. She is a green old hippy like me! I was so relieved when Toogie said she had had difficulty with the alignment of the two halves. I always thought it was only me! I've been persevering and, al
UPDATED I hope this explains the truly secret secret sister project! Everyone who took part sent me an embroidered square and a print square and I put them together for our Dennis. It was delivered today and here he is with it. I've j
I used my nearly crazy mug-rug design and substituted the central part with this new freebie from Urban Threads. Perfect for Mike!
I was inspired by jofrog's table toppers and I've been playing with the idea as an in the hoop placemat. This is my first try and was all done in my 200mm square hoop with the exception of adding the backing. I think that those with a 200 x 260 hoop cou
