140717Love this pattern - Really like your red and green with the white squares. I have seen a really big version of this lately on line but can't remember where. Still looked good tho - it was a foot warmer on a bed.
I took a class in it years ago and was told not to use red and white alternating for the side stripes as it would look like a candy cane and detract from the center block. Never tried it then but it might be perfect if you had a candy cane theme embroidered in the center.
