wonderful & a beautiful pillow even if I do say so myself!
I really like this quilt. I can probably accomplish the embroidery...but the quilting not so much. Thanks for sharing.
Its gorgeous Carolyn, but its not purple? I really do like this colour, goes well with the wood.
Hugs
It's me again. I keep coming back to this quilt. I just love the way the blocks set en pointe have given this quilt pizzaz. It's a huge inspiration to me. Two years ago I made a set of disappearing nine-patch blocks with the intention of machine stitching fantasy birds on black blocks to go in between the nine-patch ones. That's as far as I got. Life happened then, but I visit this post each day and the urge to finish those bird designs is very strong now. However, I'm glad I procrastinated so long because now I want to set the blocks en pointe, like yours, not as I originally planned just straight across.
My quilt might end up busy but I'll see how it goes. Yours looks so fresh and light and inviting.
Well thank-you for the kind words but on point like this saves borders and time lol Can;t wait to see what u do hugs
Wow - amazing! Wish I could get up the courage to do quilting. I have put it off for far too long now. You inspire me.
Great job, Carolyn! Also love the purple cushion with the great floral design.
Hugs, Lidia

so much hard work...it is beautiful!!! thanks for sharing.
Carolyn - I know that I am not 'new' to Cute but I cannot remember seeing this before. I know that I can do this but why does it make me tremble at the thought of making a quilt???? Thank you for showing us the detail in the squares. Perhaps one day I will try. Love your pretty quilt. Hugs Sarah.
Hey, just go for it...I am sure you can do it...you just have to make a start, and it will all flow along beautifully for sure...
you don't even need to add borders to a quilt like this just make 10x10 square and add to them hugs
Beautiful! Wish I knew how to do this, I've never made a quilt.
oh Breanda its not hard cut 10x10 squares put your designs on the eath as a square or on point like i did ,then sew it in rows .You can do that!!!
Positively beautiful. I think you have outdone yourself. Great work. Arlene
