Sunflower wreath. This is what I did today. The golden is jute and the center is paper mesh. I wish I could have found a darker brown, but I was in too much of a hurry to change out my easter wreath today to go looking elsewhere.

Go for it. It's easy. I used most of 3 rolls of burlap ribbon that was 6 inches by 15 feet. (the gold) I cut my pieces 6"x10" and pinched it up from the top left corner to the bottom right corner and then just attached it to the frame with chenille ste

It could be easily done with a styrofoam wreath and floral pins, too.
This is an image of the frame I used.

It is lovely, great idea to have a wreath for every season, not just for Chrismas (as I have). Must have taken quite some time to cut all those petals. The result is beautiful!
May I ask what you used for a background and how you fastened the petals. I can only think of a woodbase and a glue gun or a fabric base and a sewing machine, but both might be totally wrong.

It is a box wreath frame and I used pipe cleaners to attach the petals. I had to "make" a center by crossing the pipe cleaners or chenille stems in the center to fill in the brown. I'll put a photo of the frame above where it allows images.

That would be very pretty. I also thought of hot pink with a black center using tulle.

Thank you. I made my Christmas wreath the same way, except it was silver tulle with shiny balls hanging in the center at different lengths.

Hi Jerrilyn, I was just thinking how delightful this wreath is for the sunny months coming ahead for you. Whilst down-under we are coming into our winter months!

It's pouring rain here today. I really feel sorry for all those poor people suffering from flood damage from only last week. Southern Queensland too is under a heavy blanket of torrential rain. Love Chris

Yes, we are flipping seasons with our down-under sisters again.
Oh, dear. I do hope the rain isn't severe and stops soon. Bless all of those who are still soggy and without housing. My heartfelt prayers go out for them.

A very pretty sunflower wreath - was it hard to make? Hugs, Laura*

It was a bit time consuming because I had to cut all of the pieces, but it wasn't hard.
