FYI. My hubby is doing well. The surgeon thinks he will do much better now. He removed the stones, cyst, a pocket of bile and a LOT of scar tissue from previous surgeries. As long as he does not have any issues with bleeding or leakage, he should come home tomorrow afternoon. For any who has a tough time coming out of surgery, this anesthesgiologist did not use the typical gases used during surgeries, just IV drugs. For the first time ever, he was not horribly nauseous, drugged and shaking like a leaf when he was in Recovery. He is in a lot of pain, but the staff is wonderful and doing their best to keep ahead of the pain curve. Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts. I feel so much better (in spite of being awake since 3am) now that the surgery is over.

We pray he comes home soon and both of you have happy time from now on. Take good care of yourself too. Hugs

now you can get some rest too

I too am praying for a speedy recovery for him. I do hope both of you will start enjoying better health. You made it to retirement, now this is supposed to be the good time in your life. Hopefully all your health problems will be solved and you can enjoy all that Florida sunshine. Hugs, Mary

He should feel MUCH better shortly. I think all that bile is poison to the whole body when it starts wandering around. Finally, he should feel himself again in a few days.

Dear Karen, so glad your handsome hubby is doing so much better. I have those same issues as him coming out of anaesthesia - I hate having an anaesthetic! Go have a sleep now that he is on the road to recovery. Love Chris
