Received the results of my MRI today. I have a a Meningioma which is a slow growth pressing on my Trigeminal nerve on the right side of my face. I have to see a Neurosurgeon on the 27th of Jan. This might sound silly but this morning I had got myself so worried that I had given myself only 6 months. I could have kissed the Dr when he told me. Depending on the Neurosurgeon it might mean Radiation,Operation or they might be able to Zap it. I am so relieved that it is nothing worse. Thank You for all the Prayers and Best Wishes.

Good news, it's a relief to know, now you can have your treatment, and move forward. It's not silly to be worried. I have had 5 surgeries on my face in 2014 for BCC's, so I know what you mean about worrying. My plastic surgeon has done an excellent job, and I am OK.

Glad to read the brighter note of your post. You aren't silly. I think most of us who have faced uncertainties try to face forward the worse. Not long ago I was walking in the woods, crying my eyes out, feeling doom yet trying to be thankful for the life I have after getting a preliminary report from the doctor. I understand your "silliness". Prayers for a quick recovery!

Thank You. I have heard of people with some really serious ailments and them saying they were going to be strong and beat this. This is what I am going to do. I have some really great female friends and I know they will keep me strong.

I wondered why I am so tired all the time. I don't even know if this is a cause but I am going to blame this and the weather.

&no it does not sound silly to think that. I know it is a bad case of nerves but it happens & it has past. I am not sure other people understand the not knowing is sometimes worse then the knowing. I might add my Dentist asked me last week if I would talk to one of his other pts. . He said she had been in his office 3 times begging him to pull all her teeth because she just knew nothing but abcesses could cause the pain she was having on that side of her head. Dentist says she's not been to Dr., Her teeth are fine and he thinks that it is the Trigeminal Nerve that's causing all the pain
