I want to show you my Poinsettia. Sue D. wrote, she has killed two this year. I am so happy to say, mine is 3 years old and starts again with blooming. She grows in a wintergarden with much light.

Outside we have frost but inside the plants are still blooming.
Second Pic shows my many years old Geranias

This is truly a breathe of springtime. I'm not good with plants, so I'll merely gaze at yours and hope I don't ruin them for you.

Your poinsettia is beautiful. So are your geranias . Do you feed them any special kind of plant food? Also how often do you water them. Do they need to be kept moist or dry.? You certainly have a green thumb!

The poinsettia likes no dry air and no wet feet. I water befor the earth will be dry and use a food with 6% phosphat in it. This year the flowers of the poinsettia are gone in september and the new one are starting in november.

Beautiful !! I used to cut mine down in the summer and put it outside in a pot. It would grow again more lush each year. I had it for years. I finally gave it away.

I have never seen either so lush and big. You have the perfect place as well as a green thumb! I just rescued another 2 African violets from the local building supply store, neglected, plastic bagged with rubberbands around the leaves. Poor babies. I have a lovely pink flowering rescue one ,and I know at least one of these is purple. I could not leave them there.

Absolutely beautiful! My mom brought me a Poinsettia at Thanksgiving. Haven't had any success in the past keeping them alive all year. What are the tall pink flowers in the photograph? I really like them!

The pink flowers are pelargoniums/geraniums but a special type, which crows very quickly. Every year I cut 30 - 40 cm in the spring and after staying in the wintergarden they grow until the roof.

Oh, wundervoll!
würde wahrscheinlich komplett meine Zeit darin verbringen...

That is a beautiful plant. I find pelargoniums/geraniums easy to keep going for years, but my poinsettias always loose their lower leaves and look horrible the second year. Yours is a thing of beauty, well done!!

thank you, if your plant had wet air and dry feed, means no water under the pot, she will grow and bloom a long time.
