The are both well worth the time spent on sewing them - absolutely beautiful!
Beautiful designs. Happy Birthday to Trev's Mom.
Hi Lynne, we gave her the towel this afternoon (we are in Canberra as I write this) and she loved it. Showed me her beautiful hand done one too of course. Love Chris
just lovely Chris, the stitch out is cvery nice

Michelle
Hi Michelle, I was thrilled with it. Only had one needle break on King Henry (going through a thick area) and one on the Sweet Peas as the thread got caught around the base of the spool. Love Chris
Great detail on King Henry.. beautiful job on both stitch outs!
Thanks so much and if I haven't welcomed you to this great site - a big Aussie welcome from me. Love Chris
King Henry is glorious can see why it takes so long to sew, nice sweet peas. Have fun at the party.. Marian
Thanks so much Marian. I hope Mum enjoys all of us being there. It will take about 5 hours to drive down to Canberra/ Lovely drive if the weather is good. Love Chris
Gorgeous, Chris! Have a wonderful time at the birthday celebration...
Thanks Kim, 88 is a pretty good age and she has all her faculties. Just a few eye issues. Love Chris
King Henry VIII is magnificent. Congratulations. Now make one for you; don't wait till 88.
Thank you for the compliment, but I don't understand the 88 reference, sorry. Love Chris
Inredible stitchouts, Chris.........
Thanks Vicki, high praise from you indeed, thank you once again. Love Chris
Henry VIII looks regal and the pansies are adorable. It may have taken a long time but both turned out very beautiful. Nice work, Chris!
I actually originally said they were Pansies, but they are actually Sweet Peas! Sorry, but thanks for the comments, love Chris
Wow, such beautiful designs! King Henry is impressive, with fantastic colours, and love the cup with the scented pea flowers.
Hugs, Lidia
Thanks Lidia, yes, he is marvellous. I chose him because Mum has actually done a design like this in hand work with cross-stitch and petit point. Love Chris
