As promised, this is the saying I read on a plaque, of the roommate of my sister, in the nursing home. Whew!- I put the Olde English letters together to form words and used this free split design I dl from another forum,( I don't know if I can mention). I left out one color stitch. It was a grid in the cross. I also had to resize EVERYTHING and it all still stitched well, as far as I can see.I hope you can read it.. These words of wisdom, mean a lot to me and I am sure they have and will, touch others as well.... My color around the cross is dark brown, but it looks black here. I need ideas what to make. I am not sure I need a bible cover, thought about a tote, what is your ideas to make, please? These are the fabrics I will use....I have also asked one of our Cuties to use this saying in a design of her own, to be offered in DBC when we get it back up. I hope she considers it, she has been generous with her work,to us in the past. Something to look forward to-Toogie

Beautiful! As I carry so much stuff to church besides my Bible, I think a tote would be good! With strong straps!!

I know what you mean. A lady 2 weeks ago had a very pretty natural straw tote with black fabric wide band around the top. It was simple but looked good with her long summery dress. She had a lot of lesson books/supplies for her class in it. Thanks for looking

What a lovely saying Toogie. What about a frontal for a church lectern, or make it into a banner for your church. Maybe use it on an apron, a wall hanging or even a pillowcase. Love Chris

Beautiful! I agree it would make a wonderful tote to carry your Bible. It would also make a fabulous gift too. Well done and I can see why you wanted to do this saying.

Karen you are thinking on the same line as me. I thought of making this saying, on something for the room-mate(besides another wallhanging since she has the plaque), but this one is MINE.-lol

Thank you Vicki. I think I should have reduced 'God' the word more, but He is so awesome I wanted Him larger here.Other than that I am pleased.

That is beautiful Toogie! I would like to frame it but things I have used to frame with glass ends up wrinkled. If you pad it then maybe wrap around a thin board, or a Bible cover?
I'm loving that bird fabric I see in the background too.

Thanks for ideas. The bird fabric I used for one of my hipsters. I thought of this fabric for the meaning of the saying..Sometimes when things are out of our control, we feel like the little bird in the cage, until God's appointed time then we are like the birds that have been released, our burdens lifted. Did I explain that right ? That's why I chose this fabric.

Your design is looking great I can see it on a wallhanging or as framed picture, the beautiful saying must be the eye catcher of the project.

I told you I would finish it, just been too much happening and school starts back Thursday. No one but you, have said what to make with it though. I like the totes Shyamala (newbie) makes, so it may become a tote. I would like other ideas though. Thanks again-Toogie

Thanks Sarah. The design has over 24,000 stitches and done on my 5x7 machine. I guess I'm still use to the 4x4 with about 10,000 sts, at the most-lol
