Grandchildren are wonderful. I have pictures with several of my grandchildren sitting in my lap "sewing" with me. They are some of my favorite pictures. I look forward to showing my granddaughters how to sew. They are finally close enough (back in the States after being in Guam for 4 years and England for 3 years) to visit Grandma for a week or so.
Well,I know you are one happy grandmother! They must be military children,so I know you are glad to have them back.Did you get to visit them at their other locations, stations?
She is an adorable little cutie! Love her smile and her eyes. Thank you for sharing these pictures with us.
Hugs, Lidia
Lidia,I especially like when she dips her head, against her shoulder,as if she is shy. That really melts your heart.
She is a little beauty. Little bright eyes are lit up because she found just who she was looking for.
She is absolutely a sweetie. Lucky you to have her in your sewing room!!
Hugs, Mary
This is so gorgeous. Our Delphi is just sitting up and boy is it great, she doesn't grizzle as much as when she is lying down!!!! So glad Avery gets to be near you too when you are sewing. Love Chris
Avery listens seriously, when the machine stops, but when it starts again she squeals. She likes the sewing room.I am hoping Nora likes it too,but to actually want to make things when she is older, not get into them-lol
Yes, I did think it might be a snake or insect or BIG varmint! She is a real living doll and so proud of herself. I'll be she keeps you on the go from now on. Thanks for sharing. :) Leaha
No varmit here, fooled ya' didn't I ? She has more 'go' than I have 'giddy-up'-lol- and she hasn't started walking yet !
I have a walk out basement and use part of the family room for a sewing table. Husband was helping me square a piece of fabric, I looked down at my feet and there was a snake lying there. I walked right over the top of him and down the other side to get away from it!!!! :)
I don't blame you,I'm scared to death of them.I'll have to pm you a story sometimes about a mice.-lol
A cute little wanna be seamstress.....I hope your thread isn't in drawers because if it is, it won't be for long......ask me why? That's my granddaughter's favorite thing to do; take all of the thread out of the drawers.
I really do hope she will like and learn to sew.I know right now she's a little too young(lol) but at least she is showing an interest or may be just curious.I don't think she can get at mt threads, yet, but something could fall on her...
Lovely piccies Toogie, I too have a little one that has discovered that he can crawl and its faster day by day
LOL, lol- couldn't help myself-lol You thought it was some kind of insect or snake didn't you?- Nora just learned, not long ago, to crawl and she does, but she won't get on her knees too much here,no carpet. She is also pulling up,to stand,on Avery's wheelchair right here.We laughed because Avery's chair brake was off,and everytime Nora tried to get up,the chair would start to roll and Nora couldn't sit down fast enough.-lol-I guess my photos are out of focus because she is quicker than I am,now that she learned, she can travel-lol
That last picture she looked so happy about her accomplishment. She sure is a cutie.
Thank you crafter, she is PaPa's waa waa baby. She's happy when she 's happy and when she's not, she's his-lol
