It looks like a huge success for you, glad it went that way and now you at least know what to make for the wedding. Love the Mr. Right & Mrs. Always Right. have never heard that one before.
I'm so glad they both liked the quilt, but I didn't have any doubts that they would not like it. I'm glad you all had a great time.
Have you thought about making the next denim quilt with denim only on the front & just regular quilting material on the back? That would help with the heaviness some.
Yes,I,m always thinking...guess that's why I can't sleep-lol-I have some other to do things but seriously am thinking about some type of quilt. My husband likes quilts.our 50th antiversary is just 4 yrs away,so I need to get good at it and keep thinking.
This is soooo touching! He does really love it and appreciate it. It will be a treasure for him always, and he will always think of you and how much love you stitched in! tears here.....
I wish you could meet him,Jan.He laughs so quickly and its one of those hearty ones....I know what you are thinking,we can't help ourselves, sometimes. Now no tears....(I choked up at that wedding reception, when I started to speak to someone, there were 2 beautiful, identical twin girls and they came and stood right in front of my husband and me.Beautiful, healthy identical twins.
You did a wonderful job on this and you can see how much he loves it! Well done my friend, ~Hugs~
Beautiful job. I'm sure they will love it for a long time. Arlene

Fantastic and totaly original. Well done. when do you say you will be doing the next denim quilt LOL
My BIL has told me he has some jeans,I could make him one out of.My husband did laugh at that. Before I could say anything,my husband said as heavy as this was for me,I had said I couldn't do another one this size.
How wonderful Toogie ,I knew he would love the quilt ,its such work of love .I would never tire of seeing your quilt ,you should be proud of your work

They both do have beautiful smiles, and when she asked about pillowcases or shams,I told her I had enough to make them, she was pleased,as well.

You know,my husband has a hard time 'saying' anything about my projects.I guess it is the 'time he was born'/age thing.Anyway,I knew he was proud of this, because he wanted to show it, even though he wouldn't dare 'tell' me he was proud....And they think women are hard to understand !
Toogie, I noticed before this conversation, that he looked really involved and proud. It's hard to tell sometimes with our guys, isn't it.
I knew that label would cinch the hug. Thanks for sharing.
I'm sure you are right, but I'm equally sure I'd have recieved one anyway-lol I get one coming in or going out, everytime. He is a sweetheart.
