another quilt quilted ,this time the top was made by my 11 year old grand daughter Annaleise ,its her birthday next week she will be 12, I asked my son to send it up so I could finish it off for her , she doesn't know I have it ,and will be so surprised

She has done very well for her 1st quilt, watch out Nan she just might take over your sewing room..

Annaleise loves her quilt , last time they came to visit she asked if I had any backing fabric left over so she could make a pillow to got with it .lucky I had a mt or so

And very proud she will be. I love to see our young ladies learning what we so love to do. She has done an excellent job. On her way up to be a Master quilt maker/Lillian

This is very well done! I am in awe over the talent of some of the very young quilters. What a lovely gift to finish it and label it.

Annaleise is in the middle at the back ,these are my 3 youngest grand daughters ,helping me celebrate my birthday last December

Are you sure she's only 11? I won't try this and I'm...well never mind! It's very pretty. Are the fabrics from special materials to her or just ones she chose to play around and create with?

yep ,11 when she started it last year ,and 12 on the 15th of this month

yes I have been teaching her ,so far she is the only one of 5 grand daughters how has been interested in learning
