About DEB-leenova..I just spoke with Deb and she is in good spirits.We had an enjoyable visit and laughed a lot.I will tell you one thing she said.-She told the dr that this Spring,she wanted her drivers license reinstated, to which the dr gave Deb's mom a look.Deb said she should have and will,ask the dr what that face/look was all about.Deb told me the dr might not be planning on her being here this spring, but Deb said,I'm planning on being here and I want to get out! (lol) I told her to just show that dr a thing or two.She doesn't know our Deb or who will and who won't be here come spring.God will decide that and sounds like He isn't ready yet,and neither is Deb!-She is still 84 pounds(had lost to 81,but backup again,Yea!)-She said laundry is in the basement.She throws it down the stairs.When clean she puts it up 2 stairs,climbs2 stairs,etc until gets to the top.She is too weak to climb and carry it up,but she gets it done.She said she is NOT sitting around and waiting for 'Death" to come.As long as she has life,she wants to live(You go girl!)She wishes she had more friends close by that could come over and visit.The ones she does have,either can't drive or can't get out,it's snowwing there.Just thought I would let Cuties know.She continues the fight!-Toogie

Yes,I believe a good attitude, does play a positive part in your health.The same is true,I think too, that when we get down and depressed,it makes us drained, sick and less energized...We all need hope,and we have hope, through our Lord,Jesus Christ. If we accept Him, then death does 'lose its sting',because we have hope that we will live again,as we have never lived before. Rest assured,whenever our 'season' is over ,that is not the end....Well,my bible lesson is over for the morning, but I know you and others here, are women of faith.(oh,I forget we have a couple of men too) Anyway, just something I had to share, cause I want to see all of you,face to face one day! I haven't read anywhere in the bible that we will have emb machines, but I will be happy in the garden of Eden and with Him and my loved ones.Who likes the bling-bling,who wants the streets of gold? Carolyn,keep the prayers going up,as long as there is life,there is hope.And right now her hope is strong and she wants life.She had another christmas and looking forward to her spring,taking one season at a time.None of us know the seasons of our life,but Deb has it staring her in the face, and she is meeting it head on.Not willing to sit back and let depression and death overcome.

Not 'well' but I know what you mean.She still has pain, but she's learned that is something expected, especially if she over does.

Hello to you all! I am a fighter and I won't be giving up anytime soon even though I am making my arrangements to save my family from that. It was nice to talk to you today
I don't need to get my driver's license reinstated, I was restricted for 6 months but that was over in Oct so legally I still have my license and only my oncologist apparently doesn't think I should drive, they can't stop me though. I am exhausted from my 2 1/2 hour shopping trip with my son and it is almost 12:30 a.m. so I am heading off to bed after I take about 10 pills and I hope my cat will snuggle with me for a bit, lol. Night all!

Sorry, my brother lives in GA and he has banned me from the state, lol! We had a falling out back in 2011 and he won't talk to me or email me or tell what I did or said that ticked him off so I gave up and decided he would have to make the move to make up and he won't.

She is ,as you say,a trooper.She has gone down a dark road, but seems like she has come around a bend,and her pathway( 'attitude about life') is a little brighter.I do hope the Lord answers the petitions, everyone has made for Deb, and she can beat this terrible disease.One thing for sure.She's not just going to sit back and let it take her.

Three pounds either way, doesn't mean much to us,but to Deb,she can't afford to lose any.

She said in 2009,I believe the drs gave her 12-18 months to live,well........
