Thank you all for your kind wishes. We have spent a very quiet day at home. After getting cold and wet walking the dog this morning we ate a lovely home-cooked lunch (as vegetarians we are not too keen on eating out). I managed an hour in my sewing room and then we spent the rest of the afternoon in front of the TV. More of that this evening with a bottle of wine. That may not sound a very exciting celebration, but it suits us as a contrast to the times we spend out entertaining other people!

So sorry I missed this earlier. Congratulations and many happy years to come!
Sounds like my kind of celebrations!
My children are already asking what we will be doing in October when it will be our golden wedding. They expect a huge reception and at least a weekend away or s.t. like that.
