How special! Meg, you have said everything from your heart and I know what a special friend Chris and her husband are. They came to visit me during their european tour last year and it was such a blessing to meet and talk with them that day. I'm reminded of their visit every day when I look at my koal bears they brought (not real one!). Trust you are able to see them again and to enjoy the memories from that special day and time! Love Christie
wow you got to meet Chris, that surely was fantastic for both of you....hugs Kerry
Meg, So glad to see you here and happy. What fun you had with Chris and family. We are here with our Mothers in Victoria. Heading home on Sat. Chris you and family are very special to invite and and share your love to Meg and Ray. Have to make a day to come up and visit in the New Year. Bless you Chris for sharing your love to all x x
Hi Pauline, I know you would have done the same if you were here for Christmas. Hope Victoria is not too hot for you. Looking forward to seeing you again in the New Year. Love Chris
This post should remind us,least we forget, how good it is to love a friend like this. One of my dearest and probally closest friend, just had TWO brain anyrusiums (?) probally mispelled.Anyway,God was so good and she is so faithful to HIM. She has came through very well, one is still there, so small, they won't do anything about it. Scary waiting tho. Anyway, if you remember I had been sick for over a month, hospitalized twice, surgery, etc. and during that time had not seen my friend.Oh she phoned and kept up with me from my kids,as I did her this time.( We get so busy with our lives, family, etc. She has a 36 year old mentally challenged daughter and grandkids and a job,as do I, so we are busy.) A week before this anyrusium hit her, I had just told another friend how much I missed Martha.I said I was so lonesome for her, even tho we don't live that for apart. Then this happened.Well, to make a long story a little shorter, she came out of the hospital about a week ago,my BIL had a heart attack, and I finally got to go Christmas eve to her home to see her and bring food.We both hugged, for the longest, and cried. We know, even if life get busy, we still love and care for one another.I am so thankful God let us have her back okay.I would miss her terribly. Enjoy your friendship and I hope this year will be a Happy New Year for all of us-Toogie
Oh! Toogie I'm so happy you got to see Martha. I always believe if you hear that little inner voice it's God telling you to do something. A telephone call, a letter, or even email, a visit, taking a meal, etc. etc. etc. My best friend died nearly 3 years ago come March and I miss her so much. I appreciate all the friends I have and am so thankful for this site as I've met Meganne, Pauline and Tubby here in Australia. I've met with Christie whilst in Germany last year and I hope one day to meet some of our American ladies. Love Chris
Yep, I would feel the same way. Best wishes to you all for a fun filled and memorable 2014.
What a kind tribute. Chris is a very kind loving person. I have enjoyed our conversations here on cute. Hope you have a great New Year.
Meganne, You are right! Friends are so important and family is even better, I am sure none you will forget this Christmas for many years to come. Hugs & Love, Judy
I am so glad that you were surrounded by such a loving and caring family! You know that you are loved! hugs loralye
What a beautiful thought! Friends are, indeed, the delight of our lifes. Glad you were able to share this time with them!! Have a happy new year!
Oh! dear Meg, you've made me cry! How lovely of you to say this on here. We were just so thrilled that you could join in the mayhem - but you should have seen the morning - that was chaos with Dana's 3 and then Amy's Ophelie. She was a bit wary of all the noise and people talking all the time. Steve told me when the saw the presents under their tree she was just amazed. She was quite happy just to play with one. They had to keep prompting her to open the others. She got a bicycle and lots of toys etc. but was more happy with a Barbie home!
I'm glad you and Ray enjoyed yourselves and we certainly had plenty to eat. Wasn't Amy's Pavlova gorgeous? Can't wait to see you guys in the new year and maybe have a swim in your new pool.
Love to you both and again thanks for these kind words. Love Chris
Thank you Meganne for this. Chris is indeed a wonderful, caring person. Hugs Sarah.

As I read this my eyes well up with tears of joy for you Meg and Ray. Yes this truly shows how wonderful Chris and her family are. We know they are a very close family because of the love Chris shows in sharing her family life with us all. Meg I know you will cherish this friendship for ever. Embrace it lots as it is almost a lost characteristic of families today. Meg and Chris you are both are very special people to each other and to us here on Cute also. I love you both and I find that sort of strange to say of two people I have not personally met. Meg thanks for sharing this wonderful experience with me here... hugs always Kerry
Yes Kerry, I am truly blessed by having two very best friends in Chris and Pauline, who has also been a great friend and I have been remiss in not thanking her (publicly) for all the times she has also been there for me when I have been at my lowest.
Between them, their friendship, has helped me through the toughest times this year but I like to think that the three of us are always there, and always will be there, for each other, through thick and thin as they say. For me it is like having extra sisters but with probably even more shared interests, and our friendships blossom and grow by choice.
They hold a very special place in one's heart, as do those special Cuties who seem to radiate towards each other, there is a bond of deep affection and understanding between us all even though, sadly, most will probably never meet in person. Hugs and much love dear Kerry to you and "your girls". Meg
Meg I knew Pauline has been there for you. I know she is also your Dear Friend. Pauline and Chris you do take very good care of Meg and that is commendable to both of you. Wish I live closer to all three of you...It is lovely to know you are all there for each other....
