The only leaves that get raked around my house are the walnut leaves. They are too heavy to get picked up by the mower.
Very nice yard! I'm glad he takes care of your leaves, is he bored? He can come do mine. lol!
Toogie, I am the "yardman" at my home, and I cut grass in the summer blowing it in a circle with the mower, as it mulches the grass. In the fall, I let the blades blow the leaves into a circle, and it does the same thing. If the pile of grass or leaves gets too high, I bag some of it, but mulching is good for the grass! I do very little raking! Much rather ride!! LOL

Him too. His mom never learn to drive..anything. If she had learned, the leaves probally wouldn't have ever hit the ground, she would have been after them.LOL-She raked all the time, but she enjoyed it.
He he he..... that's the way to do it!
Thank you for sharing these terrific photos.
Hugs, Lidia
My husband also rakes leaves this way and where he can't go with the riding mower he uses a leaf blower. The day of the rake is forever gone.
He did that, too, just didn't show it.His mom really did rake until she was 90!
That's exactly how we do it to.....Cannot beat a ride on for pointing leaves in one direction....man of our own heart.....
Lol i do the same only with a push lawn more with a mulch-er on it hugs
Me too, but with a basic grass-catcher on it, rake only gets used during bad droughts when it is way too dusty for the push mower!
He was trying to get them up, before the bad weather came that night. He got the grounds all nice, strong wind and rain overnight, messed it all up again.I told him it did help, so they wouldn't pile up so thick.
You have beautiful grounds for those leaves to fall on.
