Leenova-Deb...Message from Deb, today is a good day.She has her angels, from Cuties, watching over her.She misses all and sends her love.........I just got off the phone with her.I called yesterday and got a man's voice on the answering machine, which I had never got before.Today I called back and Deb answered.She sounded so good.She said yesterday was a very bad day, had chemo and in a lot of pain, but today is good.She says it is like that, some days good , others not. She ignores the calls on the bad days, which is understandable, that's why I waited and tried again today.We talked for a little over an hour! I didn't want to wear her out, but she seemed to want "company."She said she hadn't realized we had talked that long.I don't know if it lifted her spirits, but it sure lifted mine, to her from her.I told her, I thought she sounded stronger.She said she wasn't stronger, she has lost a little more weight, weighs 84 lbs. What I meant was her 'voice' sounded stronger, maybe because she felt better today. She is going for scans Thursday and will probally get the results next Monday. She wanted me to let you know how things are going.-Toogie

Debra, so glad we get to hear from you by way of Toogie, or however, you are able to communicate!! My prayers are ongoing for each day to find you feeling better! You are still my inspiration!!

Rescuer also, keeps up with Deb, but right now she has lost her voice, so can't call her.It made me feel better that today she feels better, so I just had to share.

I also wanted to add,she said she looks terrible,especially with the weight loss, but someone took family photos Thanksgiving.She wanted to post her and her parents but can't seem to upload them.She said 1 of her sons, is coming tonight and maybe she could get him to do it for her, so keep an eye out for her post.

I am so glad got to speak with her. Thanks for the update.

Yes, she knows and she cares about Cuties too.She has told me before, how her late husband remarked how people that had never met, could care so much, was almost unbelievable.We truly are a good group,aren't we Karen?

Keep up the prayers, she is needing that.She says somedays, she feels like just quitting (chemo,I guess),giving up and then something (prayers,God,I'm sure) renews her to go on.
