Wir haben, genau wie bei Gerry in Holland, auch ein dicken sturm in Germany
oh snow is beautiful, but I hope it still stays away , we have autumn storm now. Hugs, Gerry
It's just so beautiful. I love cedar too, they smell like no other. My grandfather used to bring in a cedar for the Christmas tree each year :-) Stay warm!
Better you than me...LOL. No snow yet here in Moncton, thank goodness. Way too early for me :) I do agree it's very pretty, though!
Very beatiful pictures and yes Winter is coming! I feel t already, too.

I love your pictures. I was raise in a state that got snow just like that in December. But my husband doesn't like snow. So each time we have moved, it has been to a state that we had hope wouldn't get any. Well the first year we moved to Texas, it snow for the first time in 25 years. Hope you get to stay inside and enjoy it.
Smiles
Julia
Ps. Each state we have moved to when it snow, they would borrow snow plows from our home state to clean up their streets.
lol well u can come visit anytime until u get your fill of the white stuff.lol thanks hugs
What a site, I dont see any snow as I dont venture to the snow fields during the winter, it makes your country side look very beautiful. We dont have much snow in Australia but it is very nice to look at. I am looking forward to some warmth.
I think your photos are very pretty. I hate to think of winter coming . It will soon be our turn to see the same thing. SNOW.!! BRRRRRR. Even this a.m. I have our fireplace burning. It is getting cooler every day. Stay warm my friend. Hugs, Mary
yes i will Mary i sit here with the wood stove just to my left in shorts cause its hot lol
Nice pictures, I love the fall, but not snow, lol! It wouldn't be bad except I don't like driving in it. :)
Carolyn, The first two ducks have arrived at the pond in Alabama. Don't know how to upload, so sorry no pic. Just use your imagination. First two are "safe" except 36 degrees here last night!
Well glad to here that !!!3 days ago when walking Mr. Peeko some were flying over our head, they better hurry up or they will freeze in fight lol
Carolyn, you have made me shiver. It's only 46° F here in North Georgia, but I'm thinking of beaches and sunshine. My bones are complaining.
Thanks for sharing these lovely pictures. I am glad we do not get the snow like that here in Tasmania, Australia. I can see snow on the mountains from my dining room window in the winter, that is close enough for me. And it is mighty cold when the wind blows from that direction, Hugs and keep warm. Shirley
Yep, we had it too, Carolyn. Erie, PA, right on lake Erie. I guess all the Great Lakes got "lake effect" on the southern or eastern sides, that was quite a batch of cold air, and the lakes aren't really cold yet. Picks up the moisture and drops it a bit inland. I live in a "snow belt"--we always get it. But the ground isn't really cold enough, it melted off pretty fast. One of these days it won't, brrrrr. That's a super great idea about the stovepipe, that'll foil all my squirrels, hee hee hee. Probably not, mine will just build ladders or something, they are very resourceful little things. Entertaining, too, even if they do get a lot of seed. I put corn for them, but sunflower seed is apparently better. Hugs, Marji
yes John throws lots on the ground so they all can have some but i love to watch what birds get the squirrels but none touch them .I am always surprised by that???
We camped along Lake Superior in September what a beautiful place!!! We are in MO. I think we'd freeze in the wintertime though. lol!
WOW! Carolyn, living as I do on the east coast of Australia (where it's always gorgeous) we never get to see sites like this. Was this just an overnight snowfall? I can only see snow like this in the ski fields of New South Wales, (where I think we had some snow during the week), which is amazing as in some parts of the rest of NSW we were having dreadful bushfires. Love Chris
P.S. I hope you, hubby and Mr Peeko are keeping nice and toasty warm.
yes we got a big wood stove on thee other side of the wall were i am sitting lol.I tell people we have 3 temperatures in this house they are hot, hotter, and hottest being 82 it get give off mega heat. But i won't complain i put on my shorts and bear feet and dress up when i go out side hugs
Beautiful pictures, but I prefer to be in Sunny British Columbia for a little while longer.
Love your pictures! Snow, And I thought it was cold here this morning. I'm in central Virginia and we had a very pretty frost this morning.
We got our snow yesterday and some of the area schools were on a two hour delay while they treated the roads. Last night we had 19F/-7C for our low and on Facebook someone posted that: The High Country is colder than a majority of Alaska currently, although not by much. Like their humor. Keep Mr Peeko warm.
He just got a hair cut to so he don't stay out in the yard long lol hugs oh we are getting the same temp. but lower at night lol
Love the pictures, and the hint about the pipe on the birdfeeder, great idea!!! May I ask where this is?? I'm in central Oklahoma, dreary, cold temps today, but no snow (love to look at it, but don't like to be out driving in it, too many "nuts" driving who do NOT have a clue that you don't drive fast in those kind of conditions :-)
I live in Northern Ontario,Canada I live in the bush on a dead end road were you will see only wildlife!!hugs
Now you can make a snowman and embroider him a scarf, No snow In Texas but it does look like rain.
Bev
and so IT begins... da ta da da da... stay warm my friend!
When we get that much snow in the UK the schools get shut down and the panic buying starts in the shops.
thanks for the tip bout the stove pipe that will help me stop the mice from climbing our bird feeder
hugs annie
Glad its you and not me over in the other end of Canada. We are still enjoying the sun, just a little cooler than a month ago..
I love to see the snow....in other places. We don't have much practice driving in it, as we don't get a lot, so its a disaster when we do get hit with some.
well i drove in it all my life ,on the farm we lived on a dead end road ,i drove out for food when the plow came in and got home as fast as i could. Many times i drove through white snow on the road 5 feet high it was scarey but fun lol
That is a bit more of a dusting of snow than we have had. Enjoy the beauty of it and put another log on the fire. ;)
Well that means I will be seeing same not long from now. On the plus side when it snows I don't goes and my clubhouse is my retreat and as long as I don't get too distracted I enjoy and make my own sunshine. I know you do! hugs......... Mary
