You will feel so much better. I had mine removed years ago. it is such a straight forward thing now. Get better soon. Sarah.
I'm glad that the problem has been solved and pray that you will be healthy from here on. Hugs
I know exactly how you feel and so does my sister. We have both had ours removed. I wish "They" would look at the gallbladder much sooner than they do. It seems it is always the last thing they look for and in my case I begged for the scan. It showed that mine was flat out dead.I was 33. Sister who was just 28, had gangareen and had to be in the hospital for a long time. Mine was done by laprascopy and home the next day. Something else "they" never tell you is that you may experience constipation or diarrhea after it is removed that may be with you for the rest of your life. However, the pain before it is removed is far worse than the bothersome stuff afterwards. Good luck and don't overeat afterward the weight will come on very quickly.
Toogie, praying for great things for you now that (we think) they've found the problem, My surgery (at age31) was a slow recovery, but such immediate improvement!! The doctor warned me to be careful, that food was going to taste sooooo good and I could gain weight!
So sorry for all you've had to go through, Toogie! Hopefully, having the gall bladder removed will get you back to feeling good again, soon!
Hugs and prayers,
Angel

Toogie, Ouchie! Those gosh darn gallbladders cause you misery when they flair up. I had my gallbladder out years ago. Up to the point of having it removed life was hell! But after it was out my gosh I was like a different woman. I'll pray for the doctors who do this operation and the nursing staff who take care of you. Most importantly my prayers go out to you and your family, for speedy recovery. Get Well sister!
