Last year, My son and I hand washed several blankets and other things. I know he knows how to do it! and he can do his own ironing - not that he wants to!

Been trying to teach this to my sister, who irons blue jeans, white t shirts, and nightgowns, for years. "An iron is a tailoring tool. You use it to press seams open, to press darts down, and then you unplug it, cool it, and put it away."
