You did a wonderful job with the christening gown! What an adorable family!! Thank you for sharing your pictures. :)
A bit of trivia for you. Do you know why christening gowns are made so long? It is sometimes spoken and sometimes implied, that the baby should live long enough to be that tall. Of course that came about back when infant mortality was very high, but we all wish that for our families, don't we? :) Beautiful!
Thanks for the info and the compliments. They do look nice don't they.We on the other hand....LOL
Beautiful Baby and beautiful family!!! Loved her gown and bonnet! Hugs, Laura*
It did come out nice, if I do say so. I know I worked steady on it, cause I only had a short time to make. Thanks for commenting-Toogie

Lovely gown and pictures and extra special to have the new one wear it.
Yes, it does mean a lot to me, to get use out of it. It was lovely, up until after lunch, when the preacher's wife was holding her. Nora did her job and ended up with mustard color bm all over the skirt of it.LOL_it came out of the gown, so don't worry, it's ready to wear again.
Your daughter was a GORGEOUS baby. Wow!
If you are referring to photo #5, that is Avery, my grand-daughter, sister to Nora (Elanora). The grown-up is my daughter and her girls.#5 is the one that is in the wheelchair, in the pics with the parents. The old couple are myself and my husband, with Nora, the one that the dedication was for. Thanks for looking-Toogie
