Smart set- up, Chicka! You scored big-time. ;)
Seems to me you had Mothers day, Birthday, Christmas pressies all in one - way to go you have the right idea. I always say, buy what you need when you need it and don't wait for a big day to get what you need NOW. Hugs and enjoy all of them.
I have to say, that laptop case/handbag is a snappy little number.....................is it crocodile?
Super news! Chris, I think it is always a good idea to get a service contract for laptops. They get knocked around a bit more than desktops..... You are going to LOVE it! Hugs, Jan
Thanks Jan for that information - I'm so lucky in that just up over the rise in our road and about 4 houses in is my computer guru. He is a wonderful computer whiz. Whenever something goes wrong I just have to call him and he's here in a heartbeat! I'll get him to put on the ESET antivirus for me too. Love and blessings Chris
Wow!!! Triple whammy!!!
New laptop..... new bag to carry new laptop ..... new car to carry new bag with new laptop. Way to go, Chris.
AlmaG.
Well this will be one Happy Mothers Day for you:):)hugs Carolyn
Stylin... that is lingo for "a touch of class" going to class! Making classy things... Have much fun and a Happy Mother's Day.
Dear Chris, thanks for the interpretation. Yes, you are right it's a very 'classy' bag and as I said to Trevor -
"You know I could even use this as one of my handbags".
He just looked at me with one of those looks that only husbands give you and said tongue in cheek! -
"Yes, well, it's certainly big enough for all the stuff you carry around in your black one!!!!
Ain't love grand? Love and blessings Chris
Trevor is clearly a wise and knowledgable man. Large black ladies handbags should be classified as a weapon. I recall that when I was courting my good lady wife, we visited Arundel Castle. Having toured the battlements, we were about to descend one of the very narrow stone spiral stairways. Ann was tottering on a pair of high heels (as you ladies do) and being the consumate gentleman I offered to go down the spiral immediately in front of her just in case she slipped. Having descended about ten of the steps (whilst constantly providing a reassuring presence to Ann) I suddenly experienced a most excruciating pain in the middle of my back and found myself being launched from my foothold by the force of her weighty handbag thumping into me. I managed to regain my foothold (and composure) some fifteen steps further down, whereupon I heard Ann saying " Don't go too fast.............I'm finding these steps very difficult."
I am soo happy for you!!! You have him Trained well!!! Hahaha! Hugs, Judy
Hi Judy,
Yes, he is one very kind, loving and generous husband, father and grandfather. Also I am very lucky in that we can afford to do it, but we have worked hard for it and as all of you know when we get to our 'age' it's nice to have some luxuries!
Love and blessings Chris
I am going to have to have a quiet word with your dearly beloved. He's obviously spoiling you! Anyway, you won't have time to play with the laptop all the time you have ironing to do......lol.
YOUR POST DENNIS MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD THIS END! You are a wag!!!!!!!
I'll have to share your joke about my ironing! You see ladies I sent Dennis a picture of me so he could see clearly who he was dealing with and my ironing board was behind me with my iron on it! He commented about the fact that it was up and I must have been smiling because I'd finished it all. I told him IT'S PERMANENTLY IN THAT POSITION! I am sure all you ladies who sew know all about having the iron always at hand!
Love and blessings Chris
Oh Chris, now I shall have to find another joke to rib you about. Still, with you posting all these pictures with things to see in the background, I should be able to come up with something....lol.
How very nice, congratulations and enjoy it.
Thanks Cheryl, yes is it nice to have such luxuries. I'm very spoiled! Love and blessings Chris
You must really be a happy camper. Good luck in getting everything set up. Enjoy all of your new toys!
Thanks Carolyn, I am a very happy camper! Now to get it all set up is the next thing! I might wait till next week when I'm a bit more in the mood for fiddling! Love and blessings Chris
Wowzer!!! Lucky girl! I also love the red purse, is it a purse or laptop carrying case? Well deserved gifts for sure! hugs
Hi Vicki, it's actually a bag that has an inside compartment that comes out so you can place your LT inside it and be completely safe. It is a beauty! Love and blessings Chris
good for you... enjoy it while you can.. life is so short, really...
So true Kathy, we are what is known in Australia as "SKINS" (Spending Kid's Inheritance Now) and we are enjoying our life as much as possible. I agree with you life is too short! Love Chris
Enjoy your new laptop. I wouldn't be without mine. Hugs Shirley
Thanks Shirley, well as I said in my post the main thing is so I can take it with me to my sewing classes and not have to lug my PC in all the time. My PC is a Hewlett Packard touch screen and it's quite large and cumbersome to carry. Love and blessings Chris
You lucky girl - I still have my 10 year old desktop. I am green with envy. Enjoy your new car and drive safely. Hugs Sarah.
Thanks Sarah, green's not your colour anyway so don't worry! I will enjoy my new car haven't had one for over 10 years!!! Sounds like your old desktop! Love and blessings Chris
