Another blanket made same way as the others with a crochet edge, I used the monkey designs from here I love them :)

What a darling idea. The crochet edge is elegant and the gymnaist monkeys so cute!

To do the crochet do you just stick your hook through the edge of the fabric or make a long peice and then sew it on?

the fleece blanket had blanket stitching around it, I used that to crochet through and around.

the blanket was hand crochet around a $5 fleece blanket that had blanket stitching. I backed it with fluffy fleece to hide back of embroidery and add warmth. The $5 blanket was very thin a lot like micro fleece.

You took an ordinary baby blanket and put it over the top with the monkey alphabet and especially the crochet work. Cool
