3/01/2013 For new Cuties who struggle with slipping fabric in the hoop. I once downloaded this picture and it really works. Use the rubberised stuff that you can put into drawers to keep things sliding. I glued it onto my inner hoop. Hugs

I just cut the rubber out in the centre the size of where your outer stitch line for each hoop is. I do not glue it to the hoop. Hoop it with the fabric/ stabiliser. Been using this method for some time now.
HAVE GIVEN YOU THE LINK.

I prepared both hoops in this fashion. Not only is it helpful for holding the finer WSS in place for FSL, it works for all fabric types.

Herer is the dfirect link to pictures showing the Shelf Liner and Wonder Tape and how to put them on the bottom of your inner hoop on the Criswell website.

The reason that we use the Wonder Tape is that it is a Double Sided, Water Soluble Tape.
It can be washed off your hoop with water if you want to remove the tape or replace the tape and shelf liner on the hoop.

Over time the Shelf Liner will wear down and not hold very good.
So just replace both the Wonder Tape and the Shelf Liner strips.

You don't want to use glue to hold the Shelf Liner strips on the hoop.
You may not be able to get the glue off the hoop!

I had downloaded this a long time ago, but had never used it - until yesterday. Boy did it work. I didn't have any of the wonder tap so I used painters tape and just taped it to my hoop. I got my from criswell. I would say there are several places that you can download the info.

I think he used a tape that you buy at Joann's called Wonder Tape, I think, to stick it on that is sticky on both sides. I used a double sided thin mounting scotch tape. When I went to buy the shelf lining, I noticed that it came in two different weights. I bought the smaller size that is not so thick. Works really well, especially when you are just hooping washaway stabilizer.

Don't remember where I first saw this, but it's at EmbLibrary in the projects. Need to give credit.

Thank you so much....I saw this before but didn't know if it was glued to hoop or what....I think the stuff will hold by glueing it on itself. I hope so any way...going to try this today
