I am slow, but I also want to welcome you to Cuties. You will soon become addicted like the rest of us. Make sure you check the freebies section everyday. Some of our Cuties give us wonderful lists of links everyday so that we can go to other sites and download their freebies. I have only been on Cutie a little over a year and thanks to the wonderful people here give us their designs and the links I have over 11,500 designs downloaded. I would say 99% of them were free or part of a membership. My only problem is - I don't know If I will ever get them all stitched out, but I love collecting them.
As far as the designs from Miss V - your membership is good for 6 months so just download a few each day. If you click on the designs tab and scroll down - notice the left side of the page. There is a list of different groups like animals, christmas, flowers, birds, etc. etc. If you have downloaded all the packs that you want just pick a subject and start downloading (those that aren't in a pack) some each day. Before long you will have them all downloaded.
I would recommend that you set up folders in some way so that it will be easier to keep track of your designs. Make sure you rename them and not just leave the numbers. I have a main folder for each site I download from. Then within that folder I have multiple subject folders. For example I have a main folder for Cuties - then I have multiple subject folders such as flowers, butterflies, christmas, kids, etc etc. Sometimes I break it down even further within the subject folder if I want to keep a group of designs together. Example: Katulle (one of our great cuties has a group of designs for a shirt that is made up of butterflies, flowers and swirls. So under my flower folder I have another folder name Katulle shirt and I put all of her designs for that shirt in that folder. That way I don't have to hunt as hard for them. I also keep a spreadsheet of all the designs I have downloaded with where they came from, who the digitizer is, what the design number or ID is, what the name is that I gave that design, a category and group, the size of the design and the format. This way I can sort my list in many different ways to find what I am looking for. This is just the way I do it and I'm sure the other Cuties have other ways that work for them. Just think about it, and develop a way that makes it easy for you and you will have a lot more fun with your designs. Enjoy and look forward to seeing you around a lot more.

sounds like your organizational OCD like I am trust me I can find anything I've downloaded from any web site learned this years ago, When I bought my first design CD I used the pattern the Cd had on it to classify my designs I download, sounds like we're two peas in a pod My husband always say if I died anyone could get on my computer and look through my files and know exactly where to go I know I get it 1 from my personality and 2 from the Army.

6196hello ceirby1, Welcome!!!! the flowers are just to give thanks , the packs sometimes are for free, but if you want to DL the designs, you have to have paid membership, you also have designs from our wonderful and generous cuties. I am a member I just didn't know how to use the site it isn't user friendly although the groups and people are wonderful

85867A big Aussie welcome from me "Ceirby". After clicking on all the tabs where your mouse changes to a hand you can find wonderful posts. The Designs by Cuties (DBC) are all free from our wonderful digitisers. Check out the Designs tab and make sure you look at the Projects and also the Q&A tabs. There are so many wonderful women on here always willing to help, so be sure to take your time and as Jerrilyn (jrob - Moderator) says be patient and the site is still being revamped. If you need to ask anything, ask it, as someone else may be thinking the same thing.

yes everyone is wonderful and did notice you have a lot of great digitizers, and free stuff I looked at the DBC part for a few months and then got a membership
234253I just wanted to welcome you and ask that you have patience with the revamping. It's like you came to visit and my kitchen was in disrepair! It is continuing to get better everyday. The fewer packs is probably because the designs were given as daily freebies, however there are many packs available to members.

I looked at the DBC part for a few months and then got a membership I didn't realize you didn't have an on site search for what you were looking for and just didn't know what the flowers were for but now I know about the flowers everyone is so welcoming, just wish the had and on site search I have downloaded the packs that come up under packs but then 176 pages of individual downloads are a bit much when a lot could be in packs its just different than other sites I 've been a member of for years but you have a nice site nice people how do you upload a design to the DBC site I have a free things I've made I would like to share

Just wish to point out the following:
You may NOT upload any designs to DBC unless YOU have digitised them yourself.
It is illegal to share designs that you did not digitise yourself.
Please be aware that this advice is given as general information and not as a reprimand, so please do not take offence, because it is how we all learn.

158553Hi and welcome. I think it probably takes a time to sort out how Cute works, many suffer from Cutitis - being here too much, chasing freebies, offers, ideas and the like. Cute has been improved recently and we are told that there is more to come. As others have said in the past grab a coffe or whatever and sit down relax and just keep looking and downloading. Then comes the next dilemma having the time to sew all of your new designs out - you wont have time as you will be hear reading and looking. Have fun
114328Oh gosh I think I need to clarify The People here are fantastic have learned some things and definately like reading the threads. I ment the site itself wasn't user friendly like no on site search things that should be in packs or catagories not having to download each individual design and going page by page, you guys are great and no not leaving they have a lot of CUTE designs

ok I click on the flower next to this comment which is from you and it turns orange is that giving you a flower and the ones at the top next to my log in and download center are flowers that I received is that right
