Oh, my, this kind of thing is bad enough when you're old, but when you're just a kid? But maybe they bounce back better, I sure hope so. I kind of had to laugh when you said he's glad he getting a cadaver bone instead of being his own donor. I'm sure part of that has to do with the pain and extra surgery involved, but being a BOY, I can't help but wonder if part of it isn't the "bragging rights" he'll get with his mates that he actually has a cadaver bone in his body. I just say this because many years ago my late husband Richard had a blocked vein in his leg replaced with a cadaver vein, because they ran out of his own to take. The man was in his fifties, and he told everybody about it, because he thought it was so cool! Men, go figure. Anyway, I hope Joshua can start feeling better soon, and you can spend some time with him. Hugs, Marji
What an inspiration you are Marji - you have made me feel heaps better. You are right - men do like to boast!!!
ah gosh Sarah this is just sew hard on everyone I will add you all to my prayer list for sure, Hugs Loralye
Oh, Sarah, that poor kid......he has been through so much. Wishing him the best in this upcoming procedure!!! Hang in there, my friend!!
All these wonderful posts are just what we need. Thank you my dear friend for your wishes.
Sarah, sorry to hear this. Will keep you in my prayers.
Spoke to Joshua last night. He seems very upbeat about the whole thing, especially as the doctors will be using bone from a cadaver and not from his own hip.
So sorry about Joshua. My thoughts and prayers are going out to you and your family. Enjoy the time with your daughter and twins. Having all the family together in times like this gives everyone lots of support and comfort.
So sorry to hear about this set back in his recovery. Does sound like the doctor is doing everything possible to get his bones to get healed up. Will continue to keep him in my prayers for his recovery. Maybe those cute little twins can perk him up when they get home. Praying for the twins and parents to have a safe return home.
My prayers are with you and the family. Glad to see the twins are coming in soon.
Oh, No! I'm so sorry....Bless his heart, he must be so upset. Thankfully, there are things to be done to remedy this. I KNOW you are happy that the twins and mommy will be home soon. ;)
Thank you Jerrilyn. Yes, I will be pleased when they are back home. It will do Josh the world of good as well.
Hi Sarah, sorry to read Joshua is not doing too well, but at least he can have a splint and plaster to help heal those bones. Great news on the other hand with your daughter and the twins returning home. I know they've had a great time in Italy. Loved seeing the piccies of them just recently. Love Chris
Thank you Chris. It will be great to have them home again, although the time has gone so quickly. They are off to Rome tomorrow for a few days.
Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that. I will keep Josh, his mom and you in my thoughts.

Prayers will continue. I am so very sorry for the setback. This has already been a very long and tough healing process for you all.

Oh, the news are not as good as one would hope. The road to recovery might take long but I do pray that it would be in full. I think of him and all is nearby family as everyone of you is impacted by it. *** :)
