If you need more excuses to go to your next IKEA-store here are some ideas :o)
And I'm pretty sure you will find much more than you need *lol*

What a quaint idea! I have an idea that a dish drainer for the kitchen would be less expensive than something that did the same thing but was designed for sewing! I am not going to go out looking for one but most likely will keep my eyes open when I do go in a store.

When I saw this photo on Saturday I loved the idea, but didn't think I would be able to get one. Then yesterday I went to Sydney with my son and DIL to pick up GD from the airport and we arrived with a bit of time to spare and DIL said "would you like to have a quick look at Ikea". I have never been there before and I agreed and said there was something I was interested in getting if possible. I now have one of these but I will pack a lunch if I ever get to go to that shop again, it is HUGE!

Hello Susanne,
thank you for this wonderful idea. Must be a new modell or I wasn't in the kitchen-shop for longer (most of the time just went straight to the restaurant *lol*) Good to see that I'm not the only "swedish-junkie" ;o)
Greetings, Bet

Neat idea! I keep my good scissors on the table beside my machine and the other ones I stand in a container I did up and put mac tac on the outside and on the bottome of the inside I put either a kleenex or paper towel so the point has something soft. They never get a chance to be hung up - lol!

I sure like how the thread holder can take the large spools as well as the small ones.

That is just brilliant and the little shop is very near to me and they are having a 50% off sale. Will be there first thing in the morning. Thanks for the tip.

You should never stand your sissora point down always put them handle down or lye them flat I was told this when I was just a wee girl and my grannie was teaching me how to sew this was the first think she taught me.
I just thought I would pest this along I love the thread thingie.
