Have just returned from my second visit to the periodontist in three days. My mouth is numb and full of stitches, I have bitten my tongue - and just feeling sorry for myself. I feel much better now just being with the Cute family. LOL. Sarah.

Just found your post from 21 hours ago. Almost a day has passed and I hope you were able to get some rest and all the local anesthesia has worn off. Hugs.

Hope you feel better, i have to go but i hate dentist, and i really have to go there is a tooth sometimes i feel a little pain, I know that little pain could become a huge pain if i do not take care of, but I just dont like to go to the dentist.

Thank you Shirlene - unfortunately the treatment is far from over. I have to have 2 implants later in the year. The problem is, as we get older, everything falls to pieces!!!

You are allowed to feel sorry for yourself - I feel sorry for you also. Petrified of dentists and had to go last week so know what it feels like !!!!

Thank you Cheryl. I am not in the least scared of dentists, having been a dental nurse for some years. It is just the discomfort I hate. The numbness has gone now - thank goodness.
