Totally exhausted like you would not believe. Well O.K. Most of you will believe it, some of you going through stuff that blow out the Alice exhausted scale with way more stuff than I could cope with. The point is, Business is getting a bit better for me and I am soooo happy. I did go back to nursing in the interim (I am a registered nurse with so many other qualifications that if you sit in them you could dangle your legs). It is starting to look like I may not have to continue with the nursing, because the embroidery business is picking up. Why am I writing this here? because I want you all to know that you can make a living from your embroidery, it just takes time to make it happen.

I went off work sick in April 2009, I was not functioning well and I made a lot of mistakes, wasted a lot of money and time. If I was living by myself I probably could not live on what I am making but with some other financial strategies that we have in place and my husbands income we are getting closer to where we were at when I was working full time. My business is now paying it's own bills and giving me a small income. I must say though there does not seem to be a great deal of money in selling embroidery designs, people do like freebies, but that side of it is at least paying for the webhosting etc... I do quite well from small local businesses needing their logos embroidered. The big embroidery companies don't cater well for the little guy. I have some regular customers and I am getting new ones every week.
