Oh Gosh.... you've grown a dinosaur.

Wow, that's impressive indeed!!!! Thanks for sharing the photos with us. Hugs, Lidia
What a beautiful plant. Where are you staying? Hugs Marie
THIS is just amazing! Where did you say you live to grow this amazing plant????
This is fascinating. I would LOVE to live in a climate warm enough to grow these!! Looks somewhat similar to our pine cones. Thank you for sharing!!
Have just taken this picture of my Cycad - not nearly as impressive as yours!!!
Probably a different variety but still a lovely plant,it reminds me of a tree fern
Wow - that is some seed pod. I also have a cycad growing in a pot. We were away for 3 weeks over Christmas and my neighbour was so busy watering my roses that she did not water my cycad so at the moment it is looking a bit sad and sorry for itself.
It should recover & grow new fronds, ours have all suffered from sun & wind burn over the yrs .Just cut off the old fronds after the new ones grow & it will look like new next Xmas
What on earth????I have never seen anything like this >????I will half to google it lol Where do you live???hugs carolyn from the frozen 4 feet of snow part of the world Northen ,Ontario
Neat plant. How often do they product one of these cone type flower?
About Xmas time it either produces new fronds or a seed pod .If new fronds come we often have to cover them up ,whiles they are small &soft ,to protect them from the heat or summer hail storms
most unusual!!The plants that I planted in 1993 are all over grown now and I need for someone to pull them up and start all over. I should have had this plant.
I haven't ever seen anything like that. That's what you call slow growing. Where are you located? Just wondering what part of the world they grow.
