Since I work with cotton, I was astounded to see 100% metallic. Today I conquered 100% rayon! Next polyester and metallic! I now understand the need for high stitch count, when you use a thinner thread you need a much lnger piece and many more stitches!

2697You all have been so wonderful today - I have been busy - which is a good thing - even though it is my first real day out of bed - except the other day - when I watched movies on the couch - I was sore and in pain - but I did get through most of the day and will continue to work on things tomorrow and meet the postman on Tuesday with a few orders going out - to the ones that were so kind to purchase from my website - you blessed me with these - it will help me either get my meds - that I have been without for 3 months or will allow me to get Rick something for Christmas - you got it - it will be for Rick - hehehe! Paypal would not allow me to enter their addresses as valid mailing addresses. Don't know why.

6803Here are 3 doilies that Shirlene made. I told her southwest and just sent the money via paypal to shirlene@loveoflace.com and she did the rest. This time I am getting angels... angels... angels! I really can't make these so it is fortunate I got a christmas check today! Mine are all cotton because that is the tension I get along with! Her stuff sparkles!

It is really pretty and it is indeed applique and free standing lace. I did not even know this existed! It is from criswell, and I have been there. She is a Christmas Angel.
