I have just read through these posts and the love and friendship from all the Cuties around the world is simply amazing. Wishing Graycie a speedy recovery.
Isn't it amazing, Sarah? I could not have made it through this without the love & support of this group!!
Whoo Hoo!!!! Sounds like she has a little bit of Twinkles in her after all! (post from earlier story)
I went and hugged Twinkles and told her of Gracies home coming everyone is hoping you will have her home soon.
Vicki, Please let us know when you hear anything. I found myself praying all through the night, and giving my fat furballs extra love. I'm ready for you to have Graycie back in your arms. Purrrrrrring hugs, Jan
That is such great news. Thank you for letting us know. Praying for a speeding recovery for Graycie.
So happy for you, I know the feeling, I lost my dog and recovered her too, the whole family was very happy, her name was Princess, i say was she died 3 years ago old age, We miss her a lot... She was a real princess
OMG, so glad she is found and sure hope she can be brought back to good health! Please keeps us posted! I have 2 kitties so I know how you feel about her!
This is for the bad men who let Graycie out. DeVon
LOL..DeVon, when she gets strong enough I will take her to the jail and let her loose on him!!!
The thought of that sounds great! How about we sick a fierce dog on him too and tear him to shreds for what he did to the neighbors too?
Yes ! Yes ! Yes ! Yes ! Yes ! A happy end ! I'm sooooo happy that you have your cat back ! Tears are in my eyes. It is so horrible that you lose a pet, because of other people, and you can't find it.; you feel so hopeless. But when you get it back... SUNSHINE !!! Hopes she recovers quickly and you can spoil her a lot !!
sure she will need a lot of love and caring now happy to know her back
I too am a cat person. So sorry to hear that she had been lost, but am overjoyed that she has now been found. I wish her a speedy recovery and hope the hours until you are reunited again fly quickly by.
being a major cat person I hope the long term outcome is good, I wonder since she was found so close to home that she had been catnapped and then dropped off and found her way home. When I was a little girl my mother took my cat to a 'farm' and dropped her off! She came home a month or so later and was so thin, but she came around and mother said if she loved us that much she could stay. Hope your girl recovers fast and you can hug her to pieces. I am mommy to 6, 5 boys and a girl Isis and she is my avatar.
Isis is beautiful - what a cat story! We had a troubled kitty once who couldn't handle the other cats in the house, so we found her a loving, one-kitty home. They never changed her tags, and we got a call that someone had found our "lost cat." We got her back again. She never did adjust though and had to become an outdoor kitty - she sprayed everything - LOL Nitty was her name
her back and had to turn her into an outside kitty because she sprayed everything. I didn't know a girl would do that! Her name was Nitty. She never did adapt.
Im so glad Graycie has been found, heres to a speedy recovery. :) *
This is amazing news. Congratulations, Vicki. Thank goodness she was found when she was and had hung on so tightly to life. All the best wishes for a swift recovery and may she never leave home again!
WONDERFUL, PRAISE THE LORD, Graycie knows where LOVE is, she will grow strong and never leave your side, hugs S*
This is the way to start my day..GOOD NEWS. Love and you will see her on the road to recovery. Love and light to you and you are both still in my prayers, Christine
What wonderful news. You never know when they will find their way home. Hope she makes a speedy recovery.
OH MY HEAVENS! Great news, but such a HUGE weight loss but I see lots of hugs and grateful tears and the loving heart of her Mum that will soon have her on top again.
I will keep praying that she recovers quickly from her trauma.
What a pity she can't talk and tell her mummy all about her ordeal but I'm sure you understand her cat-talk. :-)))
I am so happy for you and Graycie.
Hugs and love, Meganne
I know, Meganne, the weight loss is the biggest hurdle right now & what damage it may have caused her poor organs...I can't believe she is still alive at 3 lbs...
That is so wonderful Vicki, I can't wait to tell hubby he will be happy to hear this news. He was very distressed that she was lost. He is big softy for cats.
Isn't it great, Alice...this week has been especially tough to keep the hope alive, but I kept praying and God came through!!
What a wonderful early Christmas gift....YEA ! !
Hugs
(another kitty lover)
Vickie I just about wrecked my laptop jumping when I read the header. I am sooooo happy for you. Prayers were answered and will continue for the speedy recovery.
I know what you mean, I about fainted when the neighbor called & said she had Graycie and I got so weak knee'd when I finally saw her....I was in such shock!!
Thank goodness! I just about jumped out of my chair when I saw this! You didn't give up and she knew it. She must have found her way back! A few more days and you will have her back - at the moment it's best she is where she can have the best care to make sure she is OK. She will be just fine once she gets home to you.
Yes, am hoping her disorientation is all from her stress & starvation mode.....
Oh my goodness poor little thing. What a little CXMAS
miracle.
OH wonderful! Praise God she has been found! Now I am praying for her return to good health! I can not imagine your joy and your angst, so I will be praying for you too! God Bless you and keep you both! Now praying........................................
Such happy news. Glad that you found each other again :)
So happy for you. I hope she recovers fully and will soon be back home with you. Hugs, Mary
Praise God!! I've got chill bumps. I am so happy for you and Graycie. I know she will get well and come home again. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
That's wonderful news. I'd be unable to cope if any of my cats got lost. Poor kitty. The vet is the best place for her until she recovers and gets to eating again on her own.
Yes, it was so hard to leave her, but I knew it was the right thing for her...
Vicki, I'm still just floating with joy! What has the vet said so far about her recovery? We need an update! Doesn't it make you wonder how far away from home she was all along. Maybe she was holed up just close by and was too afraid to come out...... I am just soooo thrilled and praying her kidneys and liver will be okay. Love and purrrrrrrs! Jan
That is what we are thinking, because she was found only 5 houses up, & by now so weak that she didn't resist help. The vet put her on a warmer right away (her temp was way down) and they will force feed her through a syringe with baby food because that is high in protein & give her subcautaneous fluid. Her only concern was her kidney & liver function because of her age (14) due to the starvation. From 9 to 3 pounds is huge!
is high in protein. The vet is mostly concerned with her kidney & liver function right now because of her age (14) due to the starvation. She couldn't even stand on her own..she didn't have long to live on her own...
Dear Vicki, I am so happy and relieved for you and all our other furball lovers at cuties .Despite the burglary,I hope you and your family are now able to have a lovely Christmas.PS Give Gracie the biggest cuddle from me. Barb
I will, Barb, as soon as I get her home. She is definately my Christmas gift this year!!
Praise God for taking care & keeping her alive!!!
Yes, the good Lord took care of her for me, now we need a little more help from above to heal her up......
I knew it. You didn't give up hope and neither did she!! And with your TLC, she will recover, and the two of you will build an even tighter bond. I'm happy to learn that she is now a found kitty!!! Do not be afraid to stay at the vet's office with her. They do not mind. That way she doesn't think she is being punished for being found. They will let you stay during business hours. I'm sure they know what this means to you....and her.
I know, if she can't come home Monday, I am going to take her bed up to her and stay awhile with her...we were all so excited to be able to throw away the pet amber alert they had posted!!
Oh Vicki, this has brought tears to my eyes. I am so very very happy for you. The relief you feel must be overwhelmimg. My love and blessings to you, I hope Graycie will be home safe in your arms as soon as possible. Hugs Helen
Thank you, Helen, have been in tears all day of happiness and a little sadness that I can't have her home yet...
God is great!! Our neighbor lost their cat at a gas station and it was 4 months later that they finally got him back. Like Graycie, he had lost weight. His canine teeth were both broken but he was back and got a clean bill of health from the vet. They capped his teeth and a year later he is showing no signs of his misadventure. I am thrilled for you and Graycie! God does answer prayers! Merry Christmas!
That's excellent news that she has been found. I'm sure the vet will do what is needed to get her back into shape. I'll keep saying prayers for her recovery.
How WONDERFUL!! God DOES answer prayers!!!
Yes, he does and Graycie is the proof!!
This is a Christmas miracle!! She is so close to death and to have been found today...God's hand was in this!!
Oh Vicki, this is great news. Hope Graycie recovers quickly and will be home with you soon. What a lovey Christmas pressie.
Hugs Yvonne
Dear Vicki,
St. Francis was definitely looking out for her. I'm so happy to read that she has been found. I'm sure once she is rehydrated and gains weight she will be the same old Graycie, but I hope her brother is a bit kinder!!!! So thrilled at this news. We love our furbabies. Love and blessings Chris
Yes, Sammi was not nice, but I think seeing her in the carrier and she is so sick and doesn't have her scent that he didn't even know her......
So happy for this news !!! I am sure she will recover and be 100% soon !
Yea, prayers were answered and a miracle has happened. So very happy for you and your little one....have a great Christmas....
Oh My!!!!! I wanted to click your flower button over and over I am just overjoyed! Now we will pray and pray for her full recovery! Praise God! What is keeping you from sitting by her side the whole weekend?! They probably wouldn't want you there in the way! I'm just crying tears of joy, Vicki!!!! and hugging and kissing my fat fat Crackle!
Unfortunately, they needed to attend to her needs right away and they closed at noon and of course aren't open tomorrow, but I will be there Monday AM, if I can't bring her home Monday!!
No matter what, at least now you know where she is, and she is getting the very best care. I wonder how many of her 9 lives she used up. Oh Graycie!
By the looks of her, Jan, quite a few. I can't tell you how I lost it when the vet took her out of the carrier and I saw her condition...I mean I really lost it!!
Sitting here with tears of joy in my eyes. So happy that she is back :o)
Greetings, Bettina

Wow! She is a fighter! I am happy for you! Yeah!

Wonderful news! I'm happy for you and hope that she recovers quickly!!!! :) Hugs, Lidia
Thank you Lidia, I am hoping for a speedy recover, the sooner she recovers, the sooner we can reintegrate her into the family..her brother hissed at her this morning, so there will be a period of adjustment..
How wonderful! Hate to hear she has lost so much weight but our vets can work miracles too. So glad she is now safe and soon to be sound. Hugs Karen
