Thanks for this interesting blog. The fleece binding idea was super, I plan to try it out this afternoon!
Thank you for the cool way to finish a fleece edge. I like 1 layer blankets and this works to make a decorative edge without sewing. Thank you Christine LLDS!
Thank you for the link. I love the edging. My SIL has a fleece blanket that someone made for her that had batting between the 2 layers of fleece. I used it one night before they took me to the airport for an early morning flight. It was so warm and cozy. I may have to try something like that and finish it with the braided edge.

This is a very nice way to finish them. Thanks for posting the site!
I love this idea. Saved it to my favorites for future use. I make a lot of baby blankets for sale with embroidery on them and the edging is always a pain. this will make cute blankets and no bulk also no need for regular sewing machine. thanks so much for the idea. *4U
I am so sorry I only get back to you now. I found this site(above) a few weeks ago. Somewhere in Cutes you will find the one I made. I demonstrated it with picture. Everybody loves these blankets!!! You must post a picture of yours
Thank you Marthie, it is on my loooong to do list and I will surely post a pic when done.
This is one of the best ways to finish off a fleece blanket I have ever seen...Thank you.
Thank you for finding this, it's a great way to finish . I just made a blanket for my gs, and sewed the 2 pieces together about 3" in, then cut 2" strips around, so it looked fringed. Probably 2 layers would be too bulky, but as long as the back looks good, I'll try this way next one.
Thank you for posting; great edging.
*4u!

Hi there, This method is very similar to Marthie's but not quite the same. Thank you for posting the site. Sarah.
