I understand that the first version I posted of this is very slightly bigger than 4" in one dimension, so I've resized it in the PES version to fit a 4 x 4 hoop (my hoop is rectangular, slightly under 4" high but over 5" wide, so I can't use standard 4 x 4 designs.)

You stitch an applique the same way we do here in Germany; often wonder why emblibrary for example always made 2 designs: one for the outline and one for the rest. That gives me a little headache everytime to stitch it in the way I used to :o)

It's no problem. I have a Janome MC5700 which has an odd-sized rectangular hoop so I didn't notice the extra millimetres in the width, I just drew it to fit my hoop! I have a problem with the height of designs - I can't use standard 4 x 4 designs because they're just a fraction too high so I know how annoying it is to download a design then find that it won't fit after all! All the others in this set WILL fit all hoops though, so watch this space....
