Thanks for letting us know and very sorry that its not good news.
Have you looked under your stash, or through it? They will be in an odd place!!
Carolyn machine embroiderers around the world are awaiting a reply from you so please put us out of our misery.
Maybe my little blue scissors have run away with her teeth!-I have misplaced my favorite little pair that came with my machine, just the right size to keep by the machine. I thought maybe I left them at a QOV meeting but no one there seems to have come across them. I've searched hi and low here at home....so I don't know....
NO TEETH :(:(I had them remade and she only charged me $600. as she still had the molds etc.
YES... any luck?? You lost them in April..... you must be fed up by now, not having your favorite foods he he
OK, it's now almost Sept! What's the teeth update? I left mine at my daughter's one time & she had to mail them to me! But it was only 3 teeth. I still hate the thing!
I found your teeth Carolyn 😁
The dog didn't know that.
I really had to laugh yesterday I was browsing FB and a lady had put up a story where she was visiting her family and she went to lay down and have a nap, putting her teeth under the pillow. When she woke up her teeth were gone.
It seems the family dog went into hiding and was acting very sheepish......
Apparently he had been watching her put her dentures under her pillow and on closer inspection he had one set in his mouth, which he would not part with, without a lot of coaxing.
I couldn't help thinking of you the whole time I was reading the post.
You don't have a dog do you? :-)
I remember once i put my part plate on my dressing table my little dog managed to get up on there and decided to have a chew on them,,maybe your pup did the same
Oh dear.... no follow up... you must be hungry OR overjoyed at losing some weight he he
Praying you will locate them soon. Look in the crack where the bed stead sits on the floor. I lost a ring once and it was there.
just read your post now.
Did you find them already?
I know the story of my grandmother's teeth that were eaten by my mom's dog......So perhaps, .....is there a dog around....?
Hope you will find them. Hugs )))
Hey Noah..... some of us are waiting for an update!! I hope you are managing to eat ! Hugs, Dolly
Dear St. Anthony please come around something is lost and it cannot be found.
I do not know where you live but in Canada. If you put the purchase on a credit card or used your client card. You are covered for the first 90 days. Lose stolen or damaged. If you still haven't found them call your bank and ask. I know the Royal bank has this available to there clients. I had to do it for my husband for when he stuck is new phone in the washing machine. Got another on for free. Lots of luck...
I too keep checking back to see if you have luckily found the missing teeth..... LOL
Without reading all the comments. I was hoping you had found them. I guess this is one good reason to look into implants. Lol!
I am sure the tooth fairy must have taken them. She could have at least left some money to buy another set. lol Hugs
"Oh Lord, please reveal those things which are hidden!" Amen
Oh dear! Are you sure they are not still in you mouth? he he he
Well you had looked everywhere else. Just thought this could have been a possibility. he He he
Check the cat/dogs mouth.. That happened to my dad. The cat took his
Do you have a soft cushy chair you sit in where they might have gone down beside the cushion? Hubby has lost numerous items that way. I have a recliner that sometimes hides my glasses when I nap.
If need be, flip the chair upside down and search from the bottom up.
Well...I still have my own teeth and strangely enough, some days when I'm not looking....I find my teeth in chocolate!!! How can that happen. (Seriously, I hope you find yours. I once misplaced a $1,000 dongle and it made me really lose sleep.)
"St Anthony, St Anthony please come down,
something is lost and cannot be found,
St Anthony, St Anthony please hear my plea and return my bottom false teeth to me."
Carolyn if you say this prayer, with sincerity, it should do the trick, it always works for me. Anthony is the Saint of lost things.
Huge hugs, Meg
OMG! I haven't heard that prayer in years! I grew up in a Catholic School and went to a public school in 8th grade. I have always prayed to St. Anthony when I have lost stuff and it really does work, even though I am not even Catholic anymore! I am Methodist now, still a Christian. I guess St. Anthony loves to help everyone! lol.......I hope you have found your bottom denture but if not, make sure to check the trash before it goes out the door. If you have a cat or dog, you may want to see if they have taken it as a toy. Good luck!
You need to keep praying GF. I am not Catholic either and he has never let me down. :-)
You have my prayers! I do hope that you have located them by now.
Once I had misplaced a large cone of variegated thread....I searched for months...literally! ( Hope it is not so long for your teeth! ) Finally the thread was at the back of the drawer where I had searched many times....just saying that sometimes in anxiety we overlook that which is right in front of us! Hope this helps.
Hugs Nadyne
Not a laughing matter dear. I'm hoping by now they have been found. Praying.
Just saw this today and hopefully you have found them by now. Don't laugh but I had a night mouth guard and one morning I took it out and laid it on the night stand. Later that day it found it, all chewed up with dog teeth marks!!!!
ps- if you don't find them you might check with your insurance agent and see if your homeowners insurance might replace them.
I hope you find your teeth. Maybe it was picked up with something else. I once put a ring on the table and it was accidentally scooped up with a newspaper or magazine and put out for rubbish. Lucky bin day was a few days away and we found the ring, but only after looking everywhere else first!
I know how maddening that is...my friend says to pray to "St. Anthony" he is the saint that will find missing items. They probably aren't even in the sewing room, you were probably walking by somewhere and put them somewhere safe. Good Luck! Saint Anthony please help noah find her teeth.
Did you wear something with pockets? Just thinking of all the possibilities.
Sorry to read the missing teeth have not been found yet. I have another funny story for you. My late friend once told me her hubby could not find his dentures. After searching he found them at the bottom of the bed down under the sheets. (The mind boggles to how they got there)
Once your sewing room is cleaned and searched top to bottom, I suggest you do the same to other rooms. I don't know how many times I've been certain I put something in a certain place, and been unable to find it, only to discover later that it was someplace completely different. Good luck! I'm sure you don't need to be told to check under cushions and in crevices.
If you flopped them down, move & look under that table and under the computer table. They may have flopped to the floor under something....or Mr.Peeko thought they were bones and he's got them somewhere....
he don't touch stuff only a smell things that's it +++i have looked everywhere+++
Is there something on the floor like a box/bag that they could have fallen into? I hope you can find them soon. Try to recall your steps. They may have gotten caught on something.
I hope you find them. Christie lost her hearing aids, so while she was here, she purchased a pair that cost 10% of what her lost pair was. She said they worked fine. Unfortunately they do not do teeth that way. Lol!
Dear Father God, let those teeth be found today I ask this in the name of JESUS. AMEN
They will turn up in the most unexpected place. Remember that external drive I lost some 12 years ago, well I found it a couple if months ago it was put neatly in the folds of a short sleeve windcheater. Just goes to show I did not really need that top if I had not needed to wear it in all those years. I just could not believe my eyes when I was sorting out my drawers. I was convinced it was gone forever.
Oh, dear, Carolyn, I'm sending up prayers that you find them real soon! If I didn't know you live in the Frozen North, I'd say Mr. Peeko dug a hole and deposited your teeth in there for "safe keeping".
I know what it's like having placed something right beside you and you turn around and it's gone. I spent months looking for a 5000mm spool of bright ORANGE thread in my sewing room! Orange should stand out, wouldn't ya think? Nope. I only found the dang thing when, having torn the room apart, looked "everywhere" and finally surrendered and I bought a replacement for the thread. grrrrr :-(
I hope you have quicker luck finding your teeth! Hugs and prayers, Deb
Hubby is always misplacing things. I have finally starting asking him to check his pockets. Guess how many times what he lost he finds in his pockets and swears he checked. I can't count that high. Carolyn go and check your pockets:)
Mission impossible.... do not vacum !..
Sometimes you find items,on places where you never looked before.. I hope you will finde them soon and can smile again with full mooth..
Oh! dear Carolyn, I am hoping by now that the case of the missing dentures has been finalised. They have to be somewhere in that room. Mum misplaced the instructions for the new phone we bought last week. i told her that they have to be in the kitchen somewhere as I put them on the bench next to the phone! She swore black and blue that they weren't anywhere to be found. I went to collect her Monday to take her to the hairdressers and guess what, she found the booklet in her bottom drawer on the bench where her phone is! So your teeth will be there somewhere. Good luck and I'm praying for you. Love Chris
no still can't find them today i am cleaning and moving everything in my sewing room
Oh Carolyn I hope you find them soon.. Must admit I did laugh but only because I know how easy it is to misplace things. marian
I feel your anxiety! I am the secretary for my homeowners association. Last week I misplaced a deposit of checks worth over $2600!! I looked everywhere - praying with each new folder and in the night,
too. Finally told my husband and together we found them - in the homeowner's folder who had given me a $2000 check. Thought I had already looked there, but - - - Praying you find your teeth - - maybe in a pocket or behind your desk??? Look in the crazy places that where you think they could not possibly be.
It was definitely Mr. Peeko, follow him around for a day or two and you might find where he keeps his stash LOL good luck!!
Gosh I hope you find them and don't have to buy a new lot. Were you looking anything up in particular and maybe had your filing cabinet open or your purse.I have lost a big pin cushion off my cutting table. I know it is here somewhere as I am the only one who touches anything in here. So far no luck so decided to stop looking to see if it comes home by itself.
Wow it took me a year to save up to buy these so if there lost no teeth for another year So i hope i find them
You may have a House Proud mouse in your sewing room. lol I was watching a clip of a man having his bits and pieces tidied up in his garage. This went on for quite a while so he asked his neighbour to help him set up a camera and see what was happening. There they saw this busy little mouse picking up all the nuts, bolts and whatever he had left on his bench and putting them in a container. He could not believe his eyes.
Oh my goodness!! Don't empty any trash bins without thoroughly looking. They will turn up I am sure...
i went through them all already i just cleaned out the wood stove to make sure i never burned them the steal part would still be there but nope not there either :(:(
If you have a dog check if he did not take it outside. My friend found her dog chewing her denture in garden.
