I bought several designs a few years ago and when i posted them and many wanted and they were no longer available. I knew he had problems. I still like his ideas. Seth is a great guy. Kay

Maybe you can convince him to only sell designs that do not violate copyright/licensing laws. It can be done. Customers can often help other people change things like that.

The Volkswagon one is questionable as just about every site has vehicles stacks including Great Notions and Embroiderydesigns.com.

It is important to note that one CAN acquire legally done designs. Any reputable source will be able and willing to provide the documentation needed to show that they are licensed to digitize and sell the design.
sewist1 -- if you have time you are welcome to request that documentation. My guess is they paid for the license as the design I saw on one of the sites you mentioned was nearly $10 for the single design and its use was limited.

Jolson's Designs also has the Waltography font which was the original name for the Disney font. Embroiderydesigns.com also has the Disney Font (under Concord Collections) as does Rivermill. Those were just a few which turned up during a quick search. I am sure there are other sites as well.

I am not where I can look at my notes or check websites, but I know at least one of the ones mentioned is also banned. Also, I know the mouse ears are licensed/copyright protected but the rules are a bit hazy on the font. Still, it is not one I would use -- ever.
