2085Very cute. For satin ribbon, I like to pass a flame quickly across the cut edges to keep them from fraying. Practice first on scrap ribbon to get the hang of it.

This works well. Be sure to do it near or over the sink in case the ribbon catches alight or you burn yourself. For really tiny bows it helps to hold them with a pair of haemostats.
