You live in a really beautiful place. How far north is it?
Thank you for showing us your beautiful village, Carolyn!
Hugs, Lidia
Thank you Carolyn for showing us your part of the world. Looks lovely and peaceful with only 500 living there, I suppose you would know everyone. With bush and water around, you would have some lovely walks with Mr Peeko, except when you met with that wolf. I hope the weather improves quickly so you can be once again outdoors. Sandra.
Nice picture Carolyn. Thanks for sharing. How far away is the closest village to your village? Hugs/ lillian
Looks like a wonderful place - the lake (or is it a river?) and forest all around. Now if you could do something about your winter - I might want to move there. LOL!
Nice view and was wondering where your house is here. I'm guessing at the far right by the trees.
I can just picture you walking all the roadways and imagine that the main roadway that runs along the water is one you would walk often with your sweet Mr Peeku. Your area in summer looks much like our area does year round, except the land around us is mountains clothed in fir trees the green is all around and I am always amazed at just how many shades of green that we have, it is gorgeous. Our rivers and the Pacific Ocean are that cold steely blue/grey of your river/lake area shown in your photo. Sorry that you do not have green grass to enjoy year round, as it is wonderful. Seeing the difference with the picture you posted after your ice storm is a stark difference. I know you would love to be in an area with far less ice and snow than what you live in, but Oh how we would miss you!! as you would likely rarely come inside long enough to sleep and eat much less to post these great views that you post for us! You would be out walking in the grass enjoying the sunshine! How long of a growing season do you get? Or is everything to can brought in from outside your area? Thanks for sharing this gorgeous view with us and hoping it won't be long before you are enjoying your summer time once again. Pam
thanks Pam our growing season is short i can grow green beans and a few veggies but nothing that takes months hugs
I understand why the post master knows all. Beautiful shot.
