So happy all is now better for Avery. God bless the individuals that came forward from Facebook and loaned your daughter their machines, and God bless the lady that drove part way to meet you with hers. You have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgivung week.
So very happy that Avery is feeling better, little brother is cute too.
Thank goodness she is feeling better. Looking so grown up.
Hugs to you dear Avery.
Sometimes I can't believe how much she has grown! Thanks Sarah for your love and concern of Avery. Did Josh find a job or what's happening with him and his mom since they moved?
So glad to hear she feeling better, thanks for the update and the adorable photo's... love the bib saying. Marian
Pictures are marvelous. .So glad to hear Avery is on the mend. God is so good to us. Hope it has been a wonderful day for you today. Life is always easier when we understand God is in control and answers prayers./Lillian
Thanks Lillian and I hope your day was full of family, food and good memories.
so glad to hear Avery is feeling better, beautifull photos wishing you all a happy thanksgiving..linda
Thank you Linda. I hope your day was good as well. We had plenty to eat and most of my family was here. The babies are still here. We kept Gus and Nora while mom and dad shopped all night!
Toogie thanks for the update and what delightful pictures
What a miracle life is and thank God for his small mercies. I'm so happy to read there was a good outcome to this emergency.
May God continue to watch over you and yours. Love Chris
Such sweeties, Toogie...So glad that Avery has turned the corner and is getting better....she captures my heart and so does little Gus!
That we do Toogie. Tears come as I wonder what in the world have I ever done for God to be so good to me. Ashley is wonderful to be able to do what she does. I know how hard it can be when it is your own. God be with you all
Lillian you make tears come to my eyes, I know you have been through a lot yourself. Even though Ashley has the education/training, like you say, it does make a difference when it's your own. How she holds it together and remembers what & how to do, has to be with His help.
I stayed with all 4 of the kids yesterday and also Avery is still 'rattley' she was feeling much better. She coughs and you can hear it, but it has loosen up. In fact she laughs at herself because she is rattley.-lol-It's a sound!
I took some photos of her yesterday but they are on my IPhone or I would show you. I put Gus in her arms and both of them were tickled. He would giggle and she would smile.
First, I can't get my mouth closed. What an adventure it is with your family. Sometimes good, sometimes like this! I'm praying for all of your sick and injured. Please tell our little Cutie we have said special prayers for her and love her so very much.
The Lord cares about everything, even the tiniest details. He had that machine lined up for you.
Wishing you all a full five fingered Thanksgiving and little girl an especially happy healthy one. P.S. Please let her sweet mama get a little bit of extra rest.
Yesterday when I went, besides caring for the 4 kids, I cooked their supper/dinner. Mason likes pork chops and Nora likes cornbread and beans. I told Ashley how sweet she was. After she said grace, she started to eat and then thanked ME, for cooking her meal. I almost cried. I know with work and 4 kids, its hard to cook something that isn't quick. So at least their meal was cooked when they both got home.
And I know from experience how much our daughters appreciate the help. God bless you Toogie for all you do for your family. I cried when I read your post - only just saw it now - so sorry not to have seen it earlier. I am so thankful that that machine was available, isn't God marvellous? Prayers being said for you and your beautiful family. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, I know you have loads to be thankful for. Love Chris
I'm sure she wonders how she could ever do this without you. I'm glad our girl is better. That smile from little Gus would make anyone feel better.
Gus is such a happy and good baby. I have him and Nora now. In fact they ran Papa out of his bed last night, but even with his snoring, I would have had a better night with Papa-lol- they move around too much and I have to tell you. Gus was whining in his sleep and flinging his arms out, every time I try to give him his pacifier. I thought he was doing it because he didn't want the pacifier. Nora, half asleep, raised up in bed, found his blankie and he grasped it and hushed, went back to sleep-lol-she understood what he wanted cause she has hers too!-lol
Toogie, You never know how strong you are until you need to be....and that sounds to be very very true of your daughter Ashley. My prayers include Ashley and Avery... and you! --Sharon
Toogie,, I'm wishing all the best to you, your daughter, Avery,...everybody.. Lucky you all have each other in these hard times. And thank God that he pointed you to some other nice people in this world, willing to help you. Take care. Prayers for everyone.
Yes, you are right, thank God.
Avery is improving but at least its loosen up. She really felt better yesterday.
Oh my, what a thing to go through. Avery has such a special place in my heart. It is just so difficult to imagine what you all go through when Avery is not well. Sending you all my thoughts and love. Sarah
Oh Sarah, you're so sweet to hold Avery so dear. I feel she can't help but capture your heart, but then I might be prejudice.-lol-
Avery, and we, have had some scary times. I wonder sometimes if I am alone and something happens, if I could hold it together, as well as Ashley, and do what needs to be done. I pray I could. Thank you for caring so much about our girl.-Love Toogie
Prayers are with you and the family....Hope Avery will be OK soon..
Yes, we all have much to be thankful for. And Avery is one of those precious joys. She is a special gift to so many and beloved by God. I'm grateful that so many stepped up to help save Avery. And so sorry it was such a scary and a long night for you all. Avery continues to be on my prayer list. As do you all. I know how difficult it can be to care for a child like Avery and what a blessing it is also. Keep trusting in God for strength, wisdom and protection for all. It will be a joyous Thanksgiving for you and your family after all the excitement and injuries of this past week. Please keep us informed of how everyone is doing.
Plans are in the making for Thanksgiving. Two of the guys got turkeys from work, so I will save one for Christmas or New Years.
This year has been a year of 'accidents' for my family, but am thankful it was not anything worse. We have roofs over our heads and always something to eat. We have the love of family/each other. Most importantly, we have security knowing He is with us through it all and will see us through whatever His plans are for us.
Avery is improving. She seemed like her old self yesterday, after I made her get up-lol-the girl does like her sleep! It was noon and she still was sleeping.-lol-Mason and I got her in her chair, after I dressed her. When I rolled her in the family room with the other kids, I had to watch Gus. He is so happy to see her, I had to put him in her lap. They just love each other.
Thank you for your prayers and I hope you have a happy thanksgiving. Somehow, I know you will!-Toogie
Hugs and prayers for Avery, Ashley and the whole family.

Glad that things worked out with the machines, will keep Avery, Ashley and the boys in my thoughts and heart..
Thoughts and prayers going out to you all. Hugs from Maureen
....and I thought my week was hectic. So thankful that Avery is okay. We went through this many times with our granddaughter. It's totally unnerving. Prayers shall continue for your whole family. Sending you a heart full of love. Toogie, I'm thankful for "you".
How sweet you are!
Unnerving is the word alright. You get through it and then your nerves are shot.
Sorry Avery and Ashley had such a bad time. Prayers being said that she gets much better real fast!
I/ we appreciate your prayers. It sure gets scary, sometimes. I will be with her tomorrow, so keep us in your prayers, that she will be alright and I can handle whatever I need to.
You and your family are in my thoughts. Your family bond and strength is an inspiration. Be safe, healthy, and happy.
My sister has said before, how she wish her grown children were close as mine. I guess we did something right (lol) as parents, although I give credit to God for blessing us with them. He gave them to us, so we had an obligation to do the best we could. That's all any of us can do. When any of them have a need, everyone pitches in, helping out.
Marsha came that night to tend to the little ones while Ashley & I tended Avery. When my SIL came in from work, he helped with Avery too. I have to say how much I appreciate him taking care of Avery (his step daughter) with all her needs.
Life has so many twist & turns. My SIL's parents expressed how,at first they weren't sure how their son, who was marrying for the first time & at a late age, was going to adjust to married life and instant parent to two children. They also have done a good parenting him, as he has made them proud, how he has stepped up to his new role.
Toogie, you and your family will be in my prayer tonight before I go to sleep. May He continue to give you all the strength to carry on and may you have a happy Thanksgiving . Take care and God bless, Mary
Thank you Mary we need prayer. I will stay with the 4 kids tomorrow, as they are out of school this week. Normally they would just come here, but my husband is sick with a cold and also don't want to take Avery out, so I will go there.
Toogie thanks for the update.. Life sounds as if its been very busy with your family. I'm sending positive thoughts for Avery and the rest of the family. Take care
yep God is still on the throne helping ***May he be with you all hugs carolyn
So glad to hear Toogie that there was someone out there with just what you needed and willing to help out. There are still good people in the world to lend a hand in an emergency. Prayers for dear little Avery, Ashley, you, and all the family,May she continue ti improve quickly. Thinking of you at this stressful time. Sandra.
Thank you Sandra- I will be with her tomorrow, pray we don't have an emergency.
Whew! Another close call. It is heartening though that you had people who were willing to respond and even go the extra mile (no pun intended). Glad to hear she is doing better - prayers coming for all of you/.
If people have this machine, they know what you are going through and are all so ready to help. Thanks
Prayers for Avery, you - Toogie, and all the family.
