Bet those fresh pick berries are delicious. When I want them I go to a Dollar Tree for their frozen bag. I grow thornless Blackberries--picked from them twice this year--gave most to my son and made a jar of juice. Let the animals have the rest this year. They ripen when the weather is at its hottest and I just haven't felt like messing outside in the heat this yr. My pear trees were good but one had the fruits disappear, the other is starting to drop but had broken branches even aft thinning
Oh man.... I would love to have them.... they look really good. Keep on picking and you will soon be able to start sewing again. Missed seeing your emb. post.
They look so good - you are so fortunate to be able to pick then , where you live , for free.
I am now up to 11 pails in the freezer and i just gave two away ****need to give a few more i really only need 4 ****but i can't resist the free berries just for the labor about 45 minutes per pail in a good patch hugs
They look wonderful and you will need them if the crowd appreciates them like they did last year, Lol! You make something special.
My mother and I used to pick blueberries together. We had blueberry pie all winter.
Beautiful blueberries. Do they grow wild where you are? If so, that would be wonderful. We have to plant them here. USA I'll bet your neighbor will get more muffins. You sweet lady! Hugs, Gail
Lucky you to get them free. Just your labor... If you get sick of them send them here would love them. hehe.. What are you going to make with them?
I have really had my share this yr but neighbor grows them. I love Blueberrie Did you see any bears while you were picking the wild ones?/Lillian
Hubby freezes them to go on his morning cereal! I love to get a hand full out of the freezer & eat them while still frozen! Like candy!!
How wonderful for you to get them wild. A couple of months ago we bought a large flat of blueberries. Froze most of them. and now use them in cobbler, pancakes, muffins, and salads. We like to eat them frozen by the handfuls.
Wow Carolyn, how lucky are you to have them so close by. We pay a lot for them down-under. At the moment I get 2 punnets for $7.00!! But, we are getting punnets of Strawberries for $1.00 - I don't know how the farmers can make any profit! Look forward to seeing what you will do with all of these berries! Love Chris
Wow $7 bucks that's ok as they sale here for 40. bucks for my 4 liter pail ***hugs
Lucky you to have those wild blueberry bushes close by...I love blueberries!
Awesome. I have a bush in my yard, but the birds are so much faster. I guess they need to eat too.
Look mouth-watering good. Are the wild ones sweeter, like wild blackberries? I like to eat them plain, or with milk, or in vanilla yogurt. (No bake solutions.)
