Great cardigan. Would like to know what you used for the facings.

I cut the facing in with the cardigan sweater It just folds back, but in used an iron on interfacing pressed to it,(the stretch kind is best for knit garments.)

Now that is clever. I would never have thought of this. Well done.

I used a bias strip for around the neck and the front facing was cut along with the jacket. I went to Stein-Mart yesterday and my sister bought one almost the same as mine for $29.99 plus tax. I paid .50 for mine before it remade it.

Love the cardigan, great job. What did you use for facings? I have few shirts that I would like to make into sets. T-shirt & cardigan set. Thank you for the idea of the lamp shade. Happy Stitching!!!

What a brilliant outcome you have made with this 'old' mock turtle neck into a great cardigan. It looks fantastic. Love Chris

P.S. Is that an antique Gramophone with the little wind up handle behind your model?

No not hard, but you will need to treat your knit with some spray starch and use a good iron on interfacing. ( the knit kind) also a serger and use a stretch needle.
