Kind of scary if you think about it, your really @ there mercy so I hope they are trustworthy.............
Carolyn, I'm behind. Did not know you were having machine problems. Have you used either of these repairmen before?. Don't understand why you are getting 2 different diagnoses. Kinda like 2 drs saying " it's his heart and the other saying, " it's his stomach". Turned out they were both wrong. It was his lungs. Hoping everything turns out okay for you/Lillian
I bought the demo machine (Topaz30) about 18 months ago. I was in the middle of a quilt of valor when the machine just stopped-NOTHING. Took it back to the shop. Within a few hours the repairman told me it was a fuse and the mother board. I was lucky as it was still under warranty. Good luck with your machine.
Sometime I wonder about these service men. Just out to make a buck. Best of luck with getting your machine fixed. Hugs Shirley
Didn't know you were having issues........it really is annoying when you get 2 different diagnosis........best wishes with this venture!!
Hmmm...two different diagnosis from two different repairmen...scratching my head...fortunately, my dealer will check out the machines for needed repairs and provide the estimate at no charge...he only charges if you actually have him make the repair. Wishing you well in your quest!
I hope you get an honest answer to your problem. I need to take my Husqvarna into see Maarten at Thorpes here in Newcastle. I noticed yesterday it was having some hiccups! I only took my Brother in last week to the Brother shop where I bought it, so hopefully when that one comes back I'll take the Husqvarna in. Love Chris
Yes, I do Carolyn. I do hope the Brother is only small issues, but I'm a bit concerned about my Husqvarna! Never mind, I'll find out within the next couple of weeks. Love Chris
When my machine has a new part I am always given the piece that has been removed. My dealer also has certificates on the wall stating who has been what certified courses by the manufacturer. Time will tell with you but from seeing your projects you really aught to be a tester for a machine company
Hope it is not your motor board as that is a $500 - 600.00 repair. Ask me how I know and my sister-in-laws viking SE has just had the same problem with the same price tag. OUCH good luck and I hope it isn't too serious,
hugs
