Paper piecing is really relaxing and it does grow quite quickly. Not quite as antisocialas spending time with the sewing machine!

109762That was a great idea to use a fancy stitch to strengthen them. I often wondered how those old quilts that were totally stitched by hand held together for so lond. But then, a purse needs more strength.
