Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well, I am doing much better, getting stronger everyday and other than not be able to lift and low energy I am almost normal (whatever that is lol).

Contractor will be here next week to work on my sewing room but I am not decided as to whether I will finish it or not right now. I have been invited to do 2 Christmas shows and I know if I start putting my sewing room together it will not be possible for me to do both. I know after the holidays I can take the time to go through every little piece of fabric and all other stuff and make sure to keep only what I need whereas if I do it now in a hurry mode, I will keep stuff that I really don't use anymore.

On the other hand I am so anxious to have my perfect sewing room. Started embroiderying yesterday (labels for a client) and I so do miss it. The first show would be the last weekend of November and the second the following weekend. I would really have to produce for them to have a chance at success.

So much for thinking out loud, I guess I will have to decide. I know I can dream a little longer and hope that my shows go well which will allow me to do something even more special in my new sewing room.

To go or not to go, that is the question.
thanks for listening,
hugs to all
Michelle

So glad your feeling almost normal. If doing the 2 shows will not stress you out then I say go for it, the sewing room can wait a little longer till your stronger. But always listen to your body and heart they won't steer you wrong. Marian

I would say forget the shows as you don't need that pressure now but keep up updated. Kay

Sounds like you are doing much better, and the planning helps. Have a wonderful time stitching as I know that will be your choice.

Glad to hear you are feeling much better, but do not overdo it too quickly. Slow and steady, and things shall fall into place. Look after yourself first. Sandra.

Listen to your body it will tell you if you are ready to go through all the work involved in sorting out and designing a room. As you haven't been in your new home very long it may be wise to wait a little longer as you might think of different ideas for the room.

My gut says about the reno: If not now, when. Later, you would have to repack all that stuff to get out of their way.

I'm glad you are feeling better. I hope your choice will be just the right one for you and your health. It is the most important thing, after all.

I'm with Chris...take care of yourself first...if you will have to push yourself to participate in the shows...I would pass...that would be a lot of stress you would be placing on yourself and you need your energy to focus on yourself to get totally healed..

Hi Michelle, I agree with Lynn. Look after yourself first and I would take time sorting out your sewing room. I like to make sure there is nothing in my way when I'm resorting or nothing hanging over my head. Love Chris

Happy to hear you are feeling much better. Please take it slow and easy, the embroidery can wait. Health first then work. Take care, Hugs Lynn

sit back, work on your sewing room, get it prefect, enjoy each little piece of material, then give it all next year. Life is way to short. (I'm thinking outloud now) Enjoy whatever you decide!
