I just did something really stupid. I don't mind admitting my faults, Lord knows, lately I've had many. The other day when 'we' were making the hat hoop, we traced around the hoop. Well, I didn't think to check my hoop for marks and today when I hooped a brand new tee, it got marks all along where the hoop was! I could kick myself, if my knee didn't hurt so bad.-lol- I am going to try hairspray, it usually takes ink out. He used a pen and then pencil, thank goodness no marker. If anyone else has any ideas, evidently I'm blank especially in thinking. My mind must be on auto-pilot-lol

Yes, go with the hairspray. Had an eleventh grade student years ago who had someone intentionally burst a Bic pen all over his brand new white zip jacket. He came to class crying, saying, my Mom is going to KILL me. I wrote him a pass for the restroom and sent him with my can of hairspray and told him to spray and blot, blot, blot. He used the whole period and the whole can and came back all smiles, no ink stains any where!

The hairspray just about has it out, thank goodness. It's stiff but working. I thought it would, but had to ask if anyone else had ideas, IF this didn't work. I bet that kid was glad and thank goodness you had your hairspray!

You know what, Toogie. If anyone can make something work it is you. No worries. Any marks will be incorporated into a spectacular project! Anxiously waiting to see how you conquer.

It's just about out. I still see it faintly, but I'm looking for it. Others may not notice but I'll keep spraying till all is out.

I have been told to use hydrogen peroxide with a cotton ball and a piece of white cotton. I don't know anything else. Sorry

I have done peroxide on white things, underwear but not on colored. I'd be afraid it would bleach it.

It is the alcohol in hairspray that makes it work. Whatever you use make sure you put a cotton ball or paper towel on front and back of the item. I have removed many ink stains with alcohol. Blot, don't rub. Repeat as needed. Hope this works for you.

I took black marker out of mine just the other day, but I did it right away with the hairspray, and it wasn't but a speck. I dropped the marker, went to catch it, and touched my shirt with it. Like juggling-lol
