each piece took 50 minutes yes hours

Fabulous! The fringe is a very unique element in this doily. I love the addition of the little flowers in the corner too. Little things like that add so much dimension to your projects. I think you have this technique down pat!

Carolyn, this is just gorgeous! You have done a wonderful job of aligning the designs! Quite an accomplishment my friend - you should be very proud of yourself!
I love the fringe edge too - just that something extra to set off those pretty strawberries!!!
