I have done the other side of my box. I decided to paint an angel on this side. I can see spots that I should have put more filler on I think they are called bleeders? sigh......I thought that I had put enough on them before I painted but now that it has sat for a couple weeks you can see them alot more. I don;t think touching them up will do the trick so I was wondering if anyone has had this happen & what if anything I can do about it? I took inspiration from a bit of wrapping paper I had that I thought was cute

I too think it looks great as it is. Looks like it was meant to look aged. Great effect even if it was not totally intentional! Nor sure how you manage to do all that you do! I am in awe, you are an inspiration!

I think the spots add character. I have no knowledge of how to fix it, but I think you did a super job on it.

Stunning angel! I love it! I have a small cabinet that has been painted with chickens and farm scenes. It has similar brown spots on it, that I thought were burn marks, but it was such a cute cabinet that I had to have it. If I could paint like you can, I would be painting just about every surface in the house. Beautifully done! Hugs, Joyce

ah Joyce that is very nice of you to say.... Hubs will let me stitch on whatever I like but draws the line ( pun intended lol) on me painting every where lol. It sounds like a great cabinet with chickens on it. Right up my alley. ~hugs~
