Anyone experienced problems with the embroidery bobbin case on the Janome MC 15000? Mine has worked fine until today, when it just wanted to eat the thread. Changed plate and bobbin case back to regular sewing mode and it was fine. Reversed it again to embroidery mode and it continued eating the thread. Any ideas?

I was having problems with my machine and took it in yesterday. Found out that I have been putting the bobbin in wrong for the past 13 years. It had worked fine and I just started having problems. So check everything before calling.

Thanks for your input. I did, in fact, change the needle, but to no avail. I managed to get the project embroidered using my regular bobbin case, though. The dealer I bought from is, shall we say, difficult to get hold of? : ( Anyway, I'm going to phone her today to see what's going on. Thanks!

I know nothing about your machine either but if I have a problem that I cant sort out I phone the dealer I bought my machine from and ask. The answer, suggestions etc are always there and they are brilliant. But I would do a needle change and rethread top and bottom threads before I made the call

iI know nothing about a Janome so I just tell you what I have to do with my Baby Lock. Have you changed the needle? I can continue sewing for days with an older needle but not embroider. Do have to change the foot when you switch from one mode to the other. Sorry I am not much help. This is the best I can do,
