21 March 2015 Today is International Day of the Forest! This designation is new from the U.N. and is a celebration of our forests, woodlands and wetlands. Arbor day is coming also! It is an excellent time to plant a tree!

In the US we tend to plant trees on Arbor Day or any other day. Happy International Day of the Forest to you all.

Thank you Christine! I love trees and find it always fascinating to see all kinds of tree "personalities" in England - countryside is so beautiful there - and they do have real old trees. I wonder how it is in the USA
