Bought this cot panel last year ,while putting the layers together I noticed that the right side is 1" wider than the left side between the inner pink border & the outer pink border. All I can think to do is to add a lemon border to the panel after I stitch around the rabbits ,inner pink border etc ,then square it up, stitch in the ditch ,then bind with white binding to finish it off.

Has anyone a different idea ?

Like Sue, I would be absolutely livid. I think Martine's idea is great. Would love to see the finished article.

I agree with Martine and Karen...either a sentiment or a name would be my choice...

I also vote for mops idea. It would personalize it at the same time. Bummer on the unevenness.

I would trim all blocks to the same size, fussy cutting , the writing would become part of the seam so I could get the largest block and due something like the link below.

The other day I was looking at licenced fabrics but saw no Beatrix Potter designs.Thank you for your suggestion

How annoying - that would drive me crazy. I like Mops suggestion very much.

You could use it as is and add some sentiment in the wider border - Fluffy Bunnies or a personal message - using the same colour as the printed words in the horizontal parts. That would make it logical for the white to be wider on that side and balance it out. Seems such a waste of fabric to cut away the outer pink frame just to even it out.

What a wonderful idea, the embroidery thread wouldn't need to be an exactly colour match. Now to decide which font to use.Thank you very much
